Oh, poor Allie, such a dreadful burden she's been carrying. I really hope her family can get her through this.
I'm so pleased you've come back to this story, Missy. It's always been one of my favorites.
Thank you so much!

Thank you a thousand times, Missy! I love this story. The friendship between Brooke and Dena is fabulous. Dena is exactly right about Bridget - she loves being the victim, the martyr, the family saint. I hope Brooke really heard what she was saying.
I loved your characterization of Allie and I hope she heals completely. Only one person is at fault for what happened, but if you were to describe degrees of blame Allie would be blameless.
And finally, no pardon for Taylor, please. Frankly, I smell a murder mystery if she is pardoned and released.

Dena is a character. I got give ya that. I'm glad she and Brooke are good friends. Brooke needs a friend to confide in. I stil HATE the idea of that bitch named Felicia touching BRIDGET'S man. I bet Felicia doesn't even give a damn. She's jealous of Bridget and wants what's Bridget. I hope Deacon sees her for the cruel heartless bitch she really is and leave her very quickly. Ugh. It makes me sick. By the way when THAT chapter comes up...WARN ME. I want no part of that chapter.

It's always been one of my favorites. Thank you so much! Allie is such a sweet innocent and kind girl. She has been walking about with this guilt that ins't her fault. The truth is it's Taylor's fault and to some degree the family. Taylor should have paid for her crimes, instead she "walked" and in turn the entire family suffered, Brooke the most. Therpy will help her a great deal. Glad that you liked the chapter. I hope to have some more soon!

And finally, no pardon for Taylor, please. Frankly, I smell a murder mystery if she is pardoned and released. I'm so glad that you love this story. I will say that I missed it. Faces is so easy to write, probably because the short chapters and the fact that I can pretty much do what I want with the characters. It think that there is something for everyone it them. The one thing that I HATE about the show is that Brooke doesn't have a female friend. It's so insane because everyone else does on other soaps. I wanted her to have a friend who isn' t threatened by her and as unpredictable and lovely as Brooke. Ohhh...if only there was a Dena on the show. Dena is exciting, fun loving and had the mental capibility to stand up for what she knows is right. She's as stylish as Brooke and a great wife and mother to Allie and Thorne who needed her. She really just fits right in. You will fine that Dena is the voice of reason in the family because she's relatively new. Yet, she sees some of the dysfunction in the Forrester family. Her summation about Bridget was spot on. Bridget can't go through life with everyone feeling sorry for her yet not playing for the pain she has caused or mistakes she made. Spencer was a good husband and loved her and yet she pushed him away. We will find out more about Bridget and see that she wants to take a stand about the life she wants to have. We will begin to see a new Bridget. Oh...I love Allie too. She's such a sweet innocent young girl who is walking around with a lot of guilt and pain for something that isn't her fault. Dena and Thorne WILL be able to help her along with therpy. If only the other characters were willing to get some help for their probelms as well. It looks like Taylor will ONCE again get a free pass. She always seems to slip "under" the radar, doesn't she? Thanks so much for your comments. I enjoyed them. I'm really glad to be back.

I'm just sorry that she isn't in any of my other stories. I truly believe she could shake things up. Well, Felicia certainly loves touching "Bridget's" man. She and Deacon do have a pretty solid marriage. As for being jealous of Bridget, she isn't in this story. She loves Bridget, however she and Bridget seem to share some men. I don't think she's heartless at all. She's moved on and so did Bridget. I'll certainly "warn" you when Felicia and Deacon's chapter comes up so you won't have to read about them. LOL

Missy, I'm thrilled that you are writing this story again! I loved this chapter so much! I have to agree that one of the things glaringly absent on B&B is the lack of real friendships--for ANYONE! I love Brooke and Dena's friendship because it reminds me so much of my own with my best friend, whom I've known since we were in junior high. Everything Dena said about Taylor, Bridget and Brooke were spot on! Yes, Bridget loves playing the poor put upon martyr and it infuriates me that she NEVER cops to the foul sh*t she's pulled! EVER! Yet, to hear her tell it, she's lived a life of "restraint and dignity!" Yeah, it takes a LOT of "restraint and dignity" to shag your stepdaddy and claim your unborn brat is his and trying to use it to break up your mother's marriage. Don't get me started on some of the other stank stuff she's pulled! Brooke may not be ready to date again, but she does need to be reminded that Ridge is dead--she isn't. And, poor Allie! I will never understand what compelled Stephanie to believe hooking Thorne up with the drunken mommy killer was a good idea. On the surface, Stephanie cared about what happened to Allie, but how do you choose your former daughter-in-law over the emotional wellbeing of your grandchild? I'm glad that Thorne finally woke up. He's more of a man than most because I know some guys who would have happily walked away from Taylor and not looked back! So, Prince Omar rides to "Layla's" rescue again. Sighhhhh ... Again, a wonderful chapter and I'm looking forward to reading more!

He's more of a man than most because I know some guys who would have happily walked away from Taylor and not looked back! So, Prince Omar rides to "Layla's" rescue again. Sighhhhh ... Again, a wonderful chapter and I'm looking forward to reading more! JR, first let me apologize for taking so long to respond to you. I did actually write a response and thought that I posted it and then the baby came so I got busy. I actually am pumping here at 3 in the morning and since I'm doing that and Grant and Rich are alseep it's actaully giving me a little time to myself so....here is the response that I wrote weeks ago. LOL B&B is written by a plot driven hack that has no knowledge about real relationships, therefore he doesn't seem to notice that the lack of real female frienship is a glaring absence on the show. No, the symbotic relationship of Taylor and Stephanie is not a true friendship when it's based on manipulation and hatred of another character. I've always wanted Brooke to have a friend something that her sisters on the show aren't. So, I created Dena for not only Thorne but for Brooke. With Dena, we have a real friendship. A woman who is secure in her own right, honest and loyal. She and Brooke are really there for each other. Deana can honestly see the real relationships and isn't willing to allow free passes the way that other characters do on the show. Yes...she was spot on about Taylor AND Bridget. Bridget is a character who is going to be going through some major changes. Bridget has gotten off at playing the victim for so long she truly hadn't seen the damage that SHE caused her own life. Yes, Brooke has hurt her however Bridget has hurt others, including her own mother yet been protected from others finding out the truth. Bridget will go through discovery and find out what she truly wants. As for Allie, the poor girl has been through hell. It was manipulative and wrong for the family to knowingly allow Thorne to marry the woman who killed his wife and NOT tell Allie the truth. Because of Stephanie's "need" to have Taylor as a part of the family any way possible, Allie was in deep pain. Thank God, that Dena could be there for her. Allie had to work hard at rebuilding the trust that she had in her father. Being lied too by almost every member of your family is not the type of thing that a young girl should go through. Because of her own actions which she sees "caused" the death of her uncle, Allie has shown that the death of Ridge is truly NOT forgotten. Isn't it funny that the person who should have no guilt over what transpired does while others have simply "moved on." Thorne made a lot of mistakes, the biggest in marrying Taylor, has finally gotten it right. He is being honest with his daughter. He has a real, mature and abiding love for his wife. He has a woman who wants him and only him. He also has learned to create his own life and destiny and stop living in the shadows of others. Well, Prince Omar is once again to the rescue of Taylor. Why or why does he love this woman? It's so hard to understand however he does. He plans to use everything in his power to make sure she's free. Oh...Happy, happy, joy, joy! Not! Thanks again for your comments. I loved them.
