whoa! Good exchange between mother and daughter! Can't say I'm too happy about Bridget trying to go after Nick again, but Bravo on the therapy session.

Great scene between Brooke and Bridget! They should have never been set up as rivals for the same men in the first place, and it's something that I will NEVER forgive Brad Bell for. It changed the whole dynamic of what should have been a close, yet sometimes contentious mother-daughter relationship. This is a conversation that Brooke and Bridget should have had on the show. Once that conversation took place, it should have been over and done with. It's been ridiculous to see Bridget get away with using the Breacon Express Card to excuse every trifling thing she does and to fabricate positive attributes about herself (i.e., living a life of dignity and restraint) that have no basis in reality.

Thanks Horsey and Miss Jr. I'm glad you both think the conversation between Brooke and Bridget worked. To me it was crucial to making the rest of the story convincing, so it's a relief to know you think I pulled it off.

Damn, I'm jealous. When I wrote my FF, I tried to put that rivalry to rest, and even though I think I was successful, you did a better job. This is how Bridgette should be acting. It bugged the hell out of me that Bell decided to make them rivals. You actually made me like Bridgette as opposed to tolerating her.

Personally, I can't stand the onscreen Bridget - in either the JF or AJ incarnations. Actually, writing her in this story, she didn't really have a 'face' in my imagination, not in the way the other characters do.
After what she went through in her own childhood, her demanding that Deacon be cut out of Hope's life is one (among many) of things that really made me despise the character. She didn't give a rat's ass about what effect it would have on Hope.
Thanks for your comments, Gio. I love your Revenge LA Style so much - it's a great compliment that you're enjoying my story even though I know you aren't a fan of Breacon.
