I thoroughly enjoyed Jackie and Deacon's easy repartee! As far as I'm concerned, they still have it going on! I also like that their previous relationship wasn't belittled.
It will be interesting to see how Jackie and Owen's relationship play out. BTW--how does Nick feel about it?

Thanks for your feedback, Miss Jr.
As much as I love Breacon, I thought Jeacon were a great couple and loved their fun - not to mention HOT - onscreen relationship. LAD is my second favorite B&B actress after KKL - they both have amazing chemistry in any pairing. I wanted a positive closure for them and have to admit, this is one of the scenes I really enjoyed writing.
As to Nick's reaction to Jowen, I'm deliberately trying to limit myself to writing only from Brooke and Deacon's POV's. Unless the subject comes up in conversation, I'll probably just leave his reaction the same as how it plays out on screen.
I started out with the intention that this would be a short story - so much for good intentions, LOL. As a novice writer, I thought I would just get totally confused if I started introducing other characters and their motivations into the mix outside of their interactions with B &/or D, and would end up with a story of epic proportions.
As I go on with the story, it's a format I feel comfortable with, as much as I'm tempted at times - like here when I really had to fight the urge to get into Jackie's head and motives for wanting Bridget and Nick back together. I think there's more than just their supposed 'love story' going on - I enjoy Jackie as a ballsy businesswoman and keeping head designer Bridget within the fold is a pretty good motivation for promoting their relationship, JMO.
