An explanation for the jump ahead: I felt like I was getting too involved in what is currently playing out on screen (and that the story was getting way too long), so decided to cut to the chase.
There will be another couple of chapters before the story wraps. I may come back and revisit some of the plotlines that will be unveiled in the finale, from the point of view of the other participants.
