wow it was just wonderful!!! I love it so much. Everyone is happy, and we have our bricky back! Greetz lien It was so beautiful! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I know in a soap everyone can't be happy, but for a Christmas story I thought it would be great to have Brooke reconnect her deep friendship with Ridge, get the love of the man she adores and get her daughter back too! Thanks for reading!

I may hate Nick, but this was a wonderfully written story, Dot. Thank you. ô¿ô LOL! Thanks. I still like Nick, though I hate what is happening to him. But I LOATHE Bridget and Ridge and have since he stuck his tongue down her throat and she found it 4th of July 10 times over. LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I had fun doing something different.

Anyone sticking anything in Bridget is disgusting, but nothing can erase the years that Ridge was Bridget's father so that just makes it worse to me. Nick never changed her diapers, at least not onscreen LOL!

Kay and Dot, you two are a riot! LOL!
Dot, I loved this story! It was heartwarming, inspirational and wrapped up so many loose ends. Even Stephanie managed to act civilized!
Thank you for sharing your vision of a happy Bricky with us!!

Thank you for sharing your vision of a happy Bricky with us!! Thanks dear. I know there isn't much to say about a story like this. I tried to throw in some drama, even "mini cliffhangers" LOL but mostly it was about how all these people could come out of the mess in tact and with love and dignity and that Brooke could finally get her happy ending. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

BTW, Dot--thank you for having Nick finally address those "tests!" It galls me that Brooke didn't nip that mess in the bud the first time Bridget showed her ass in her house. Her shit should have been packed that night and set out on the front step, along with her layaway man, whom she invited to lay up in Brooke's house. It seemed to me that since Bridget resented Hope sooooooo much and had so little regard for her well-being, she didn't need to live there any longer. Certainly, anyone who throws wine bottles and has that kind of a fit while there are small children sleeping upstairs can't be trusted to be around them.
And, I have to admit that I'm glad that Brooke and Ridge reached a healthy place in their relationship. You know my heart was in my throat with that mistletoe scene!

I wanted to address as many issues I could in a short story, but I also wanted to have everyone come out of it somewhat intact. It wasn't easy but I'm glad you liked how I did it. As for the mistletoe kiss, I did want to cause a little concern, but it was also the perfect moment to cement Brooke and Ridge's friendhship and to end the vicious cycle. Thanks again for your comments!

Dot! Sorry that it's taken me so long respond but you know all about my computer issues. Bascially, I'm trying to use anyone's computer who will let me. LOL
This was a very nice treat and a really sweet story. The only part I didn't like was Tridge...well at least Taylor. Ohhh...I hate her character. Well, maybe if Bell were to right her the way that you have...I maybe could like her. This is one of the reasons that I can't finish Secrets right now.. I HATE TAYLOR so much.....
Anyway. Poor Brooke, I really felt for her in this story. She was trying to do the right thing yet she was suffering. Losing Nick, dealing with Ridge and the holiday shopping. Little Hope was soooo cute, wasn't she? Wanting to give everyone a present.
You really had me going when Brooke was in that water. I was so furious at her when I thought that she was going to give up. I'm just glad that she didn't otherwise she would have missed out.
I was pleasantly surprised by Bridget's baby twist. Honestly, I think that Bell ought to do this on the show. Dante is Bridget's age and in love with her though I can't understand why> LOl
Taylor was suprisingly kind to Brooke and her children showing a maturity and a rationality that is missing from the actual show.
The ending was so sweet and nice. Everything from the divorces, to baby paternities were covered in such a way that everyone was happy for the holiday. Especially Brooke and Hope. They deserved it!

Thanks Missy. I think I was writing Taylor to be more like Changes Taylor than Bell Taylor. When she first came back I thought maybe she and Brooke wouldn't be mortal enemies and would really understand each other's pain, but Bell just can't have women that aren't at each other's throats. Basically I have every woman on the show except Brooke and sometimes Jackie. Sad isn't it? I wanted to give Brooke and Ridge their long and loving friendship back and I wanted to have Taylor see it and accept it and actually see Brooke was no longer her enemy. I also had to have a couple of cliffhangers so you had to wonder if Brooke did try to kill herself or realize she didn't want to do that and to wonder if Bridget had done something to Nick when she got him drunk. All in all it was a happiness fantasy, something that could never become a staple on soaps but should be part of the makeup if they want to keep women watching! Thanks for reading and commenting!

I love the way you write. You seem to remember everything that happens on the show and make other ideas plausible. Bridget did spend the night and the audience didn't know whether something happened or not - and Bridget asked like she didn't know either. It was only Dante's word that "nothing happened". I liked those couple of jabs about Nick acting like her father. LOL - well, he's old enough to be! He's a peer of your mother and belongs with her. Was happy to see Bridget's ephiphany that she went after Brooke's man as some sort of reaction to the Deacon affair. When Bridget had a man that wasn't hot for her mother (Oscar) and close to her age, she didn't want him. Such a twisted dynamic. Didn't like that Brooke felt weak enough to act even one second toward a random suicide thought. And did she have to imitate Kimberly's(?) method of suicide? LOL. Very nice Christmas treat to have everyone in attendance for Christmas Eve. Thank you Dot.

Very nice Christmas treat to have everyone in attendance for Christmas Eve. Thank you Dot. LOL! I don't remember Kimbooby's suicide attempt, I pretty much washed her from my memory. She was a beautiful young woman but her character kept making 360 degree changes and I couldn't get into her. As for Brooke, she just wanted the pain to go away, she wasn't planning suicide, but when she was in a water a part of her just wanted to close her eyes and make it all go away. But she immediately knew she couldn't and wouldn't do it. I think she was at a very bad place and it was a wakeup call for her. Bridget could have had so many good relationships. Oscar, CJ, Mark and others never brought on, but she only seems to want her mother's contemporaries. I hate it and I hate that I hate Brooke's daughter. I thought that if both admitted to their mistakes that they could regain a good relationship in time. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for letting me know!

Oh, I liked that story Dot.
Wouldn't it be nice to see the Forrester extended family come together like that for Christmas. And for Brooke to get her happiness too.
It's still hard to like Bridget, but since she made Brooke smile...I'm willing to get past it. LOL.
I so wish Brooke could get her happily ever after like that.
Pam
