Taylor had tried to help manipulate with Stepho into bullying Ridge with a supposed scam done by Brooke and when that plan failed, they tried again to convince Ridge that Brooke was purposely siding for Rick. The other attempt almost worked had it not been for Katie and Donna who were Brooke supporters all the way through. Brooke almost regretted trusting Ridge again. For some reason, she's the first one to try and save their marriage but in the end she's the one who's hurting.
At first, she was convinced that he was holding a grudge against the Logans but every time she tries to leave him he comes banging on her door. Brooke did not want to get into another fight with Taylor. Instead, she's willing to let Ridge be the judge and if got to see Taylor the other day, he would have understood her reasons. Brooke was being hounded by Taylor questioning her relationship. She was taking her greed just another level. (Sorry, I just can't stand this new Taylor. She's changed and I'm basing this on the episode where Taylor dies but with Brooke's death being plotted by Stepho and who else Taylor- after all the trouble they've caused- I won't be surprised.)
