Another great chapter, Janice!
Hmnnn, the Delicia love scenes were wonderful – I can definitely understand why neither of them could wait any longer – HOT!
I loved Felicia’s idea about the perfumes and that Brooke was able to help them bring the idea to fruition before the club opening. And in such a clever way too – using a New Orleans perfume house to bring it about. Couldn’t be more appropriate for a jazz club..
Gawd, could Ridge be any more deluded? You’d think by now all these women kneeing him in the balls would clue him into the fact that he ain’t all that!
Ugh, Christine and Dante – I could actually feel my skin crawling during their twisted idea of love making. I don’t know which of them is the creepier person. I really hope they get theirs eventually!
I wish CJ and Bridget would wake up and smell the coffee about what a slut that Tiffany is – seems like everybody else can pick up on it, including Hope, but they are oblivious. I really hope she is not going to cause too much drama in their relationship.
As usual, you do all the family scenes with the kids to perfection. It’s one of the things I enjoy most about your stories. I hope we’re going to get some family scenes with Little Eric and Hope soon – I’m really looking forward to Felicia getting to meet Deacon's son too.
Looking forward to reading more of this story.

As always, thanks for reading, Jill. I wanted Felicia and Deacon to wait longer, but both of them are passionate, impulsive and know what (and who) they want. I think it fits their characters and it certainly fits my story. I think the perfume "hook up" with the jazz club is a great idea and I wanted to be somewhat realistic about what was possible. I would have loved to chosen one of the great French "noses", but it would have been unrealistic. They might have been interested, but they have so many commitments and would have not been available in the time frame. I was trying to decide how to handle this and whether I wanted Brooke to suddenly become a brilliant perfumer (NO!), when I hit upon the New Orleans perfumeries. I love their work and maybe I've even made a few more people aware of them. Their prices are great and they embody the spirit of the city. (Not to leave anyone out, I know of a third perfumer there - Hove. I love them, too, but I think the other suits Felicia and Deacon more.) Well, you know Ridge - no way could a woman not want him. I've always found Christine twisted. For this story, Dante has to be that way, too. Who is actually worse will be revealed soon. CJ will understand Tiffany's true intent very soon. In his case, it's not so much being unaware as not understanding just how determined she is. He thinks she has a mild attraction to him which he figures will end if he ignores it. Bridget, in this story, is past all her insecurities and feels secure in CJ's love. She doesn't take him for granted, she just doesn't feel threatened. But her eyes will be opened to Tiffany, too. I've always felt that Bell writes children as mini-adults rather than as children. And Deacon's son will soon be interacting with everyone. Thanks again and here is the url for Hove: www.hoveparfumeur.com/
