Haven't you sometimes wanted Brooke's past to appear and rescue her? I know I have: I love it!!! And I couldn't agree with your sentiment more.  More than anything else, the thing I'd really like to see happen on this show is for Brooke to realize that she has thrown her whole life away chasing after a man who will never love her the way she deserves to be loved. Everything about Ridge's so-called love has always been completely conditional. That's why Bratley will never be able to sell me on Bridge's "great love story". What a crock! I'm really looking forward to reading more of this story and finding out more about the intriguing Dave the artist! |

Thanks, Jill and FB! The more I think about the present morass on the show, the more I believe that Brooke would have been better off and happier without Ridge. Of course, that might have meant that she wouldn't have her present children in her life. (But, in at least one instance, I think we can all agree that would have been a good thing.  ) In this story (while not neglecting the others), I hope to have Brooke truly re-discover herself and realize what she has lost and why. |
