I'm really enjoying this story, Janice.
I really hope Brooke gets in touch with the person she used to be before the Horresters came into her life and turned her into the mere cipher we see on screen these days ;D
As usual, Ridge never fails to live down to his reputation - what a smarmy, arrogant jackass he is!

I don't think Dave really had a choice before when Brooke broke their engagement, but he also wanted what would make her happy. Now, he can see that she is not happy and he will take action.
Brooke is starting to wake up from the nightmare that is Ridge Forrester (and the rest of the Forresters) and her glances back will only reinforce her resolve to put them behind her.
