Awesome as usual Missy!
Poor Brooke. It is just like her not to want to really give up, have that
small amount of hope. I feel soooo bad for her.
I know it was hard for Bridget to trust Ian at first. It was going to
be hard for her. She was going to naturally be suspicous and weary of him.
She loves her mother and she was weary of some other guy coming along
and hurting her. She's seen that with Ridge and she didn't want her to go through it again. At least it shows how much Bridget love her mother to be concerned. Maybe she was a little harsh but then I think Ian had his part as well. But I think that's all behind them.
I know Ridge still loves Brooke and always will. I think he is seeing what he lost. Correct me if I'm wrong (I can't quite remember) but Brooke walked away from him after Paris correct? I was never quite sure why.
By the way I KNEW BRIDGET WAS PREGNANT! I knew it!!

Missy!!!!!!!!! Can’t believe I happened onto this. I’m so disconnected from all things B&B, but can’t quite get out of the habit of checking out the boards now and then. I came across your blurb up at Scott’s. I think the last time I read any fanfic it was Love Story too. I tracked my old comments to see how far I’d gotten and had three new chapters to settle into and enjoy. Good thing or I would have been waiting nearly a year wondering about that cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 41! My apathy and break from B&B also put me in a better place so I could enjoy your version without the taint of the real thing getting in my way. Okay, Deacon does see something in his ‘sweet’ little wife that attracts him. Oh, that was hard to see, but I’ve made the jump in your story.

I absolutely loved the byplay between Brooke and Deacon in Chap. 39. It was so them and the chemistry just oozed out. ;D Deacon was the savvy outsider that had the lousy Foresters pegged just as I remembered him. Loved his alpha bitches line and the way he clued Brooke in about Steffers and Taylor’s present attempts to use and set Bridget against her mother. And it was so Brooke to blame herself alone for her problems with the Foresters and her daughter. I can feel them mending the fences. And your ski slope emergency scenario nailed it for turning Bridget’s attitude towards Ian around. Well done!

The suspense was great as we watched the competent SEAL in his element save young Kendall. I felt for Brooke, but I couldn’t believe she and the rest of them gave up on Ian so soon. The recent search for those three climbers out west made that part hard for me to swallow. Brooke and Co. just gave up too soon. I would have thought there would have been more hope in Ian's super-abilities. Of course they would have had no way of knowing he’d found the boy, so I could understand the despair there. But Ian, especially alone, I would have thought they would have been more anxious to get out there and look for him. But Ian saved the day anyway on all accounts, yeah! ;D

So Ridge and Mommy Dearest are up to their old tricks. And neither has time for Taylor. Ridge is focused in on Brooke and since Taylor can’t help Steph in her latest foray to shut Brooke out she’s shut Taylor out in favor of Amber who can. So Taylor is hanging in the wind feeling shut out and alone while Amber is crowing over her elevation in the Forester Family thanks to Stephanie? Well, we all know what Stephanie’s loyalty is worth when you’re usefulness to her comes to an end. And poor pathetic Eric and Rick, when will they buy a clue? I’m sure you’re coming struggle over Forester Creations will put all of baby Bell’s recent ones to shame. Heck, that isn’t much of a challenge now is it? This is all classic B&B.

Okay, it looks like Bridget is preggers, but I’m still not sure Brooke isn’t as well. Could it be? Poor woman, through no fault of her own, is whacked out on sedatives. And look what it is doing to her! My money is on Ian reaching her in time, LOL. Good intentions gone very bad with those drugs she was slipped! What might they mean if she’s pregnant too? And what about Ian and Brooke’s happy, happy, joy, joy reunion? I hope we don’t have to wait almost another year for the next installment, argghhhhh!

What a treat to see a new chapter up. ;D The suspense yikes!! What a bastard Ridge is turning out to be. I hope his lust for vegeance makes him lose everything including his wife(although I'm certainly no fan of hers) What kind of spokesperson will she be when she can't even be true to who she is physically. Everytime she talks all they'll see is her huge lips moving.

So Bridget is pregnant, but why do I have the feeling that it isn't going to be long before Brooke is pregnant too? Or maybe she already is, but what about the pills she "accidentally" took...?
I loved how you wrote the love that Brooke and Ian are feeling in such a romantic way, I liked the flashbacks.
So Ridge is the bad guy in you story, interesting! But now I was especially focused on the part where Brooke and Ian reunite and now... THE END, was it all a dream or did Brooke really fell off the balcony, I like your shocking endings, but now I can't wait for the next chapter!!! You keep me wanting for more ;D

Logan I know that you are a happy camper ! You finally got your Breacon baby. Right now Bridget is keeping this secret to herself but expect her to tell Deacon. It's going to be a very touching scene. One you'll enjoy. Deacon is going to be very excited and frightened at the same time.

Brooke really wanted to have hope but what are the chances of someone suriving an avalnche under those conditions. She thinks that Ian's gone. It's killing her because she's met the man of her dreams, fallen in love with him and now he's taken from her.

As for Bridget she has a lot of guilt where Ian's concerned. She knows that she didn't give him a real chance. She sees how much her mother is hurting and finally realizes that this is something there. There was real love between them. She regrets getting in the way.

Ridge does love Brooke. That's clear but at the same time his love has turned to hate/obsession. He wants her to hurt and to suffer for what she's done to him. She broke things off in Paris. He thinks that she only used him to get back at Stephanie and Taylor. Of course that didn't happen, she did it because she knew that taking Ridge from his children would mean one day he'd leave her and hate her. It was an act of love. She loved him enough to walk away.

Expect fireworks when Brooke and Ridge see each other again. There are a lot of issues between them.

Fan2c...It's so great to hear from you ;D. I've missed you. I was so excited to see your comments. I know that you've taken a break from the show so it's a great compliment that you'd take the time to read. I hope you'll enjoy the new chapters. I'll e-mail when new chapters are avaiable.

Deacon and Brooke are bonding. I really liked writing their scenes. Yes, KKL and SK had a natural chemistry and it does shine through alittle in this story, though I have no idention of going the Breacon route. Deacon is from the streets, he tells it like it is. He sees how Stephanie and Taylor have used Bridget against her mother and doesn't like it. He knowns that no matter what problems Bridget and Brooke have time from time that Brooke loves her daughter. So, he's really protective of that relationship because he doesn't have that with his own mother. Deacon will prove to be a resourceful and loyal friend to Brooke in the end. Brooke will also have a surprising impact on Deacon's life as well.

Brooke and Bridget are on their way to mending their fences on so many levels. Bridget was so upset with her mother but now she's learning that nobody is perfect, mostly her. So, she's seeing things not in black and white but shades of gray. As for the ski sernerio, I had to do something to show Bridget what kind of man ian was and how deep his connection to her mother was as well. This was SOOO perfect.

I wanted the senerio to be realistic. The snow, the storm a lost child and avalanche. It was my first real attempt to write something dramatic and I hope that I didn't fail. I wanted the readers to get a chance to feel the cold, to understand the danger yet at the same time see Ian be tough yet reasurring to Kendall who is such a great kid. A wanted a relationship to develop there because although Kendall was frightened he was so in awe of Ian.

As for the others not beleiving that Ian could survive. That was my realstic element. Yes, we had people searching for climbers in horrendous condition, but this wasn't just a snow storm. It was an avalanche. If Ian hadn't been at that point of the mountain, he wouldn't have made it. Not even his super S.E.A.L skills could outmatch an act of nature. There was no plausible reason for them to believed he surrived.....but thank goodness he did.

As for everyone else, it's believeable that they don't believe he's alive....well everyone expect for Ace. He believes in NOT leaving a S.E.A.L brother behind. That ins't going to happen. He'll fight tooth and nail and recover Ian's body if he has to. God...you gotta love Ace.

Ridge and Mommy are up to their old tricks and if Brooke doesn't get back it could be a done deal. Stephanie's been waiting for a moment like this. Notice that they don't invovled Rick, Eric or Thorne in their shemes knowing that they'd tell Brooke. As for Ridge, he is living off of hate, rage and revenge. He love and hates Brooke as the same time. Taylor really means nothing to him. He was willing to walk away from her so the fact that she's being left out in the cold, means nothing. As for Taylor, she's getting what she's always wanted but at what price. Ridge isn't sending mixed signals. Brooke isn't around. Yet her marriage is nothing that is was suppossed to be. Now that the muse and the sexual fuse of her relationship is gone, what's left? Ridge doesn't care, doesn't have the time and isn't paying her any attenion. She's got this "new" position but will it make her happy. Oh....this is why I've missed you Fan....you saw how she got left in the cold? LOL...

Yes, Stephanie has used Taylor and is working on her other daughter-in-law right now. Amber is gettng all the good treatment because she was the one to give them the ammunation that she needs. Stephanie has always been out for self....but don't expect Taylor to see it. She too is blinded by her own hate.

Isn't is funny that Brooke isn't around yet the lives of the Forrester are still influenced by her in some form or fashion.

Bridget is expecting her first baby and don't expect all of her family to be happy. BUT this baby will help bridge the bond between Bridget and Brooke. As for Brooke....you never know what really happed. We know that for whatever reasons(good intentions) she was drugged. First by Bridget then Colt. She had no idea what's happening. She thinks she's dreaming but it's become a nightmare. She's in peril and it could cost her.

As for Rick and Eric, it's really not their fault that they don't know what's going on. Rick is a lot like Eric, trusting. BUT now the Ashley has given him a tip, he's going to investigate what really going on. But what about Eric? Where does his loyality lie? This was HIS company. Stephanie is HIS wife yet at the same time he's close to Brooke. What about Thorne? How will he feel? Brooke broke his heart.

There will be a battle and lines will be drawn. Right now Taylor, Stephanie, Ridge and Amber are on one side. Eric and Thorne may be on the fence. Then there is Rick and Brooke.....things are going to get sticky especially when the Forrester meet a no nonsense S.E.A.L that his maddly in love with Brooke.

Stick around....I think you are going to enjoy the upcoming chapters. Fan...it was so great to hear from you. And NO, we won't have to wait another year for an installment.

Glad that you are enjoying the new chapter. I hope to keep you on her seat. Ridge is turning out to be a bastard in this story. No doubt about it. He will do all that he can to take over the company. He is going down a path that he might not be able to recover from in the future.

As for Taylor she isn't the person for the spokemodel position. She had no business in the fashion business but ti more or less there to get on Brooke's last nerve. Just what Stephanie wants to happen.

Glad that you liked the chapter. Yes, Bridget is pregnant but you could be right maybe Brooke's pregant too. As for Brooke she doesn't know that she's taken any pills. Bridget put some in her soup and Colt in her tea, so it's kinda an overdose. Not enough to kill her but to have an effect on her where she isn't in her right mind.

Flashbacks are great because you get to go back and revisit without being there. You get the feel of Brooke and Ian as well as a tiny feel of Ridge and Brooke. What they had, what we know that he had.

Is Ridge a bad guy? It's hard to say. Yes, he's acting badly. He's out for blood, true but is he a "bad" guy? We will see. Certainly they are layers to Ridge. He's hurt and very angry lashing out at the woman he loved and probably still loves.

Ian and Brooke deserve a happy ending. They really do love each other. You'll have to say tuned to find out what will happen in the next chapter.

Another great chapter!!!

There's a thin line between love and hate. And Ridge has crossed over to the hate side so it seems. Ian is gong to have a field day with him when they do meet up. And I won't even begin to think of things Brooke is going to say and do to him when she gets home. Oh and Rick....Will Ridge be surprised when his little brother foils his plan? Will Rick confide in Eric? Will they be able to stop Ridge in time? Will Ridge be dead to Rick when this is all over?

Poor Amber, she made a deal with devil and choose the wrong team to support. Will she lose her marriage and her kids because of it?

I love that Bridget now realizes and understands how wrong she was about Ian. I hope she really will give him a chance now that he's back.

I love Deacon. Brooke's family. This former player is now a family man. Oh, Ridge has another man gunning for him when the truth comes out.

Ian, Rick, Deacon, and I dare say, even Eric, will want to spend some time with Ridge...Who will get to him first?

I know you're not going to let Brooke lose Ian's baby so I'm not going to let you put me on pins and needles until the next chapter. You wouldn't do that to Ian, not after he just survived an avalanche.

I'm glad Ace is coming to town.

I just have to say right off the top that this is one of my favorite stories!

I am in the same camp as Yash...I think Brooke is pregnant too. Please don't let anything happen to this baby!! Between the stress, sleeping pills and fall (if she really falls), I hope that her baby is ok. I can't wait for the HOT reunion between Brooke and Ian.

I'm kind of liking Bridget in the story. She knows she was wrong about Ian and feels terrible about it. I think she is just used to protecting her Mom and I also hope that she changes her tune now than Ian is alive. I'm excited for her and Deacon, too. I've always loved Deacon and I think he will be a wonderful father to their baby.

Amber is Amber. She is true to form. I just don't like that girl. Rick needs to catch wind of what has happened and kick her to the curb. He's is going to go ballistic when he finds out what Ridge is trying to do. I can't wait for Ridge and Ian to meet. I'm sure the fists will eventually fly. I can't wait!!

I think Ace needs to relocate to LA. I really like him. He is a man's man and he won't give up hope until he has seen for himself. Brooke needs a friend like Ace.

Brooke really thought that she was doing the right thing. When Thomas got sick she realized not only that Ridge's children would suffer but she realized that Taylor wouldn't make it easy on Ridge for leaving. Brooke thought about how she felt when her father left, howher children felt when Ridge left. She didn't want to be that person who took a father away from their children.

So she left him. She lied about the reasons and sent him back to his sick son. Brooke then made arrangments for her to stay in Paris for additional time to mend her broken heart. Although business was over and it was time to go back to L.A she didn't want to face anyone so she decided to go to Colorado to a retreat that Megan told her about. She was going to rest and get herself together before facing Ridge and the Forresters---that was when she got stranded and her life changed.

Colt and BRidget have both messed things up for Brooke without meaning to. They both gave her two sleeping pills and she didn't each more. Brooke is really drugged at the moment.

We can only hope that Ian and Brooke are able to have a happy reunion. But will that happen?

Rick knows that something is going on but he isn't sure what. He feels something in the air. Ashley has tipped him off, money is being moved, accounts being set up but for what? Rick isn't going to let anything happen under his watch. He has his mother's best interest at heart.

As for Brooke, she's a little tied up at the moment, she isn't able to get back to L.A. But this is important. This stock holder's meeting can change the direction of the company forever.

Bridget realizes that she was wrong. She jumped to conclusions about Ian and different give him a chance. She sees how much her mother loved him and now she feels that she wants to get a chance to know him. But it starts to late.
