She's awake!!!! Yippee!!! Now the big question is how is she? Please no memory loss....
I love the way this family is strengthening its bond both between Ian and his S.E.A.L. family and the Logans.
Can I tell you how much I hate Amber? Ugh! Your mother-in-law is ill and you're reading her will. UGH!!!
I loved the history of Stephanie's and Brooke's relationship. That was insightful. Jealous of the woman who had power over her men.
No Ridge sightings in this chapter, what is this man who's living on the hate side of the love and hate line, up to? Why do I think even with his feelings that something's wrong with Brooke, he's still up to no good?

But that doesn't mean that she's out of the woods. She had brain trauma. However things are looking good because she was able to speak Bridget's name and remembered. Therfore it looks good. It will take time for her to recover but with the help of her family, friends and Ian, things are looking up. I'm sure once Brooke realizes that Ian's alive, that is going to be the shot in the arm that she is going to need. Ian has an unconvential family in the S.E.A.L.S. They were there for him in his time of need just like he has been ther for them. Amber has no real love for Brooke. They don't get along. It was a shock for her to fid out that Brooke left stock in Forrester to Little D. So, the question is, what will win out. Her greed? Or her love for Rick. A bigger question is what is it that she really want? You'll find out soon when she does something unexpected. Stephanie and Brooke have a complicated history. But just when you think that Stephanie would be jumping for joy over Brooke's demise, she surprises you by acting as if she really does care. There is a fine line between Brooke and Stephanie. there is a lot of hate but maybe a little tiny bit of love and caring. The question is what happens now? Stephanie wants the company. She wants Brooke out of Ridge's life but we also see that maybe there a part of her that needs Brooke around in some way. Don't look for Stephanie to get all mushy once she knows that Brooke has awakened....she'll be back to her old nasty self. Ridge wasn't in this chapter. He'll be back in the next one. But what Ridge will we get? The one out for blood or the one we used to know. His life is falling apart all around him even if he doesn't see it. He's losing his grip. He's losing his control. He's losing his wife. Taylor isn't happy. Ridge is never around and he takes her for granted. Ridge has a strong reaction to finding out about Brooke. It will not go unoticed by Taylor. I don't like the way you are writing Amber. I'm sorry but Amber
does not act that way
Bridget really needs to stop the guilt and think of her child. The health of her child is important and she needs to stop feeling sorry for herself
and get herself together. Not eating and loosing weight is not good for her.
She's being a bit of a drama queen.

Hi Missy.
I just reread this story from beginning to end about a week ago and I was thrilled to see a new chapter. You did not disappoint. I am happy that it looks like Brooke will be waking up soon. I really hope that Ian and Brooke are able to overcome the loss of their child and move on with their lives. I HATE Ridge but I'm looking forward to seeing what he does when he finds out Brooke has been hurt. Ian will give him a run for his money. I love the way that you have not only incorportated existing characters (Brooke's parents, children, etc) but also brought in all of Ian's "family". Brooke is going to need all of the support she can get while she recovers and then goes back to deal with the mess that Ridge is creating.
I think you really nailed Stephanie in this chapter. She has always had a real love/hate relationship with Brooke and I could feel her roller coaster of emotions.
Amber is such a witch. Now she will be sitting back hoping that Brooke dies. I hope that Brooke finds out that Amber was involved in giving Stephanie the papers. Maybe then Rick will finally dump her and she can disappear. I have never liked her character.
Keep up the good work. I hope you know how much all of us appreciate the time and energy it must take to write these stories. You are truly talented.

As you know Logan, I'm done with the real show. Have been for months and the latest informaiton on spoilers indicates that I've made the right decision. The only thing that I have left is the board and fanfiction. So...this is pretty much it. As for this chapter. It was painful as Brooke's family and Ian's family deal with the reality that she may not wake up anytime. It was pretty gutwrenching yet a the same time you really have to appericate the fact that they were there for each other. The men have bonded so well to each other. I've got a special treat for you. Rose, Deacon's mother will soon be making an apperance as she tries to relate more to her son after his call. We will kinda get an idea about Deacon's background as he is faced with an offer that may indeed test his marriage. I'm sorry that you don't like my take on Amber. I'm clearly not an Amber fan. Amber and Brooke don't get along. No, she doesn't wish this to have happened to Brooke but she isn't above figuring out what there would be to gain if she dies. She does love right but how much? Amber will soon have to make some very important decisions. She'll have chance to show what she's really made. Hopefully she'll make a right decision. But...before then we'll see something in her we haven't expected to see. Bridget's guilt is pretty natural considering how Brooke ended up in the hospital. It's not that she isn't thinking of the baby but more of less Bridget is so wrapped up in her mother she isn't thinking clearly. Now that Brooke's awake I'm sure her focus to return on her child and telling Deacon about the baby. Thanks so much for the comments. |

I really pleased that you've gone back and reread the story from the beginning. I know it's hard sometimes to till be connected to the characters because the chapters are so far apart. So rereading gives you a bettter understanding the the entire story. I know because I've done it. I started rereading Dot's changes and I'm loving it! Brooke and Ian have a lot to face. She's got to recover. She's got to find out that her love is very much alive yet she also has to find out that she's lost their baby. Some very emotional scenes coming up. BUT ....there is Ian. He's emotionally connected to Brooke like he's never been connected to anyone. He's deeply in love with her. You have got to know when Ian and Ridge finally come face to face, they won't be friendly or friends. I know you hate Ridge....but you'll begin to see a side to Ridge that lets you know he still loves Brooke. BUT will that side win out? Or will the hatred come back. One thing for certain once Ridge finds out the truth he is going to want to be there to see if Brooke's okay. Ridge will be forced to really look at his relationships, the one with his mother, his wife, Brooke and maybe himself. There will be a serious internal struggle with Ridge and the woman he loves. Unlike the show from HELL...I like character driven storylines with supportive family members. Brooke's family is going to be there for her during her recovery. Her mother and her father (who by the way I see as Patrick Duffy) as well as her siblings. As for Ian, he has an unconventional family. His S.E.A.L family. They are his band of brothers. They will be there every step of the way if he needs them. He also has this spirtual connection to his parents. BTW...his dream with Ceana wasn't really a dream. His mother's spirit was there. Although Ian isn't really ready to admit it, to him it's a dream. It's a little different from the norm but I wanted the readers to get an understanding of the kind of relationship he had with his parents. I also wanted to explain the symbolism behind his dreams. Amber is playing her cards close to her chest. She's already sidded with Stephanie, giving her Brooke's papers. Now she founds out about the will. Amber may not be wishing for Brooke's death, she doesn't hate her that much, yet she's allowing greed to get her mind rolling. What if Brooke dies? I'm going to be wealthy. Amber, believe it or not is going to be a pivitoal character in much later chapters. She's going to have to make some decisions and face the truth of what she has done to Brooke and maybe to her marriage. Stephanie is a complicated woman as her relationship with Brooke is. She hates her...but just when you think she'd be jumping for joy at her death, she doesn't do it. Instead, she's almost afraid. She KNOWS, she truly knows Brooke impact on her family. She doesn't want Eric, Thorne, Ridge, Bridget or Rick hurt....but could it be that she wouldn't know what to do if Brooke died. It has been her goal, her reason for getting up in the morning to ruin, destory and get rid of Brooke. BUT not like this.... The relationship between the two women is very strange indeed. Thanks so much for the comments. Honey, these day...I need them. It's my only real connection to the show anymore so I basically need all the encouragement I can get to keep writing these stories. I really appeciate the time you've taken to write to me. Thanks! |
