Wow. Long time no read, I almost gave up on ever reading a new chapter. But it was worth the wait, the chapter was amazing, as usual :-)
I should be doing schoolwork now, but just want to comment on Brooke's reaction at the end, which was a bit over the top IMO. Sure she has a right to be angry at Mike, but the divorce-card was too much. Make him sleep in the doghouse and suffer, divorce is a bit extreme. But I know that her emotions are all over the place and it has been a bad day for her too. I know that you wrote it as a hothead reaction, and not in Bradley-style, where random comments soon become reality. I know Brooke and Mike will work this out, I have faith in you.
Keep up the good work, and please, a new chapter a bit sooner? please? LOL!

I promise you'll enjoy the next morning and oh yes, Dr. Copeland is going to be in the doghouse. |

Hi Dot, thank you for another great chapter.
Poor Bridget, I feel so much for that girl! But I adore her strength and how she trusts Michael. She knows she can open up to him completely and he would do everything to help her. They have such a strong relationship, Bridget knows he loves her as much as he loves Bethany!
Bridget's disease is hard to deal with for the whole family. I wonder how you'll go on with this part.
Like in the show Thorne has not really sense of business, has he? But what does this mean for Brooke? Will she go back to control Forrester again? And what will Michael think about it, now that he has partner? And what does Stephanie have in mind? We know she loves to play dirty - and I don't think that Eric, Ridge or Thorne can ever stop her! She and Ehlers are just... (where is the puke icon?)
Ade and Joey - they sure have lots of chemistry! I just love them together, but it seems Michael has a big problem with them as a couple. I wonder why?! Joey just proves himself to be worthy of the family's trust, he'd do anything for Michael. Ade was such a good friend and help to Brooke when the times were rough. He should think about his attitude FAST! I hope he's only concerned for Ade and not jealous! And I do hope Brooke is not serious about a divorce - please don't tell me she is! I mean, I understand that she won't have another threesome marriage but they were always able to talk about their problems.
I wonder where Ridge and Taylor will stand in your next chapter. Closer or a little more apart? I thought she and Chris might have a good start, but I also think back to what she and Jackson shared. He loved her so much. Is it really over for them and will she ever be ready to move on without Ridge?
I like the Jason part of your story! It's getting very exciting - did they find his parents? And who are they??? I can hardly wait for your next chapter!

WOW dot WOW!! I feel like a real fool that I didn't check out this board before.  I really like this story, all the elements are there for great drama, and I love how you have incorporated new and old characters into it. The story also flows very nicely. I love Brooke with Mike, and I am sooo happy that she seems to have Ridge out of her system. I also love how Taylor finally took the blinders off and is seeing her beloved hubsand for what he is. Most of your story is fresh in my mind, I just finished reading to ch.131. Here are my thoughts on the last chapter: I think Mike and Brooke will work things out. He is at his wits end, and he did have to much to drink. Brooke was right to call him out on it. However my impression of his fight with Joey, was not necessarily "his inner Ridge" showing but more he is still not sure of his brother's true intentions. I really think he doesn't want Ade to get hurt. Up till this point, Mike hasn't appeared to be to concerned with who Ade was involved with. I can certainly understand Brooke's position though, and he was an ass to let things get out of control like that, but he is afterall just a man. Poor Budge, but like many she has to live with the repurcussions of her actions. I feel sorry for her, and she was young and foolish, it seems almost unfair for her to have to deal with this so young, but the tragic thing is that people do have to deal with this type of situation. Overall I think it was a good move on your part, it allows for many heartwrenching sls for her in the future. Stephanie, Stephanie, Stephanie....  She just can't seem to let it go can she. Tsk Tsk Tsk.....I know she will continue to cause trouble for Storm and Colin, as well as Brooke and Mike,and I think I see a major, and I MEAN MAJOR custody battle coming up. I may be wrong, but poor Jason will be caught in the middle, and I think his bio parent and grandparents will be found. I also beleive that Mike at some point will have to once again defend himself from Keith Ehlers and that hag he's sleeping with. They do make a formidable team, but frankly so does Brooke and Mike, and I think it will be great drama when it happens. FC.....I really had to laugh at the typical Ridge reaction to putting Thorne in charge of the business end of the company. I almost wonder if those papers Eric showed Brooke weren't doctored to make things seem worse than they are. While I think Thorne maybe a little out of his league, he certainly doesn't have the support and encouragement of his loving family. If they spent a fraction of the time helping him, that they spend bad mouthing him I have to wonder if the company wouldn't be "in trouble". Ridge definately needs to have his ego checked.  It is always about everyone else, and never himself. I still haven't seen him do some honest to goodness soul searching and examining his feelings. He is the poster child for pointing the finger instead pointing the thumb. Lovely writing dotd, and I'm working my way thru the other fan fics, I just have so much to read because you guys have a lengthy headstart. My only complaint....LOL is that I wish that these stories were published as books. I would love just to curl up in my favorite reading nook and lose myself, instead of having to sit at the computer to read. ;D  |

This is by far the best story i've read! I've read all the others, but this one just held on to me and wouldnt let me go!!!! But now, can you imagine to my horror, that the story isnt even done? I feel cheated and its been over a year since the last post, so i'm figuring there'll be no more. Girl, I would never have started reading this masterpiece had I known it had no ending. I'm suffering!!!!This is so distressing to me. I wish you'd finish this story. I just know it would've had a fantastic ending!!!! MAN OH MAN!!!  |

Thanks guys. I've been so disheartened with the show that I put my story away. But it's still here and I'm dusted it off and I'm thinking about where I can go from here. I still have my notes and I still remember where I was heading so if anyone is still interested please let me know if I should continue.

I do, I do. Dot, I love this fan fiction! (This is Kay by the way. Dogbreath is my testing name when I am making changes to the board and I want to see it as other registered people do, LOL.)
Anyhoo, I would love it if you came back and started writing this story again. This is the one that started it all for me and I want to see it to the very end.

Dot - please do continue all your stories - don't let the show take it away from you. I have been so looking forward to reading more of your stories. I love reading all of the stories here - at least we can enjoy our Brooke as she really is & not the Brooke that BB writes.

Hi sweetie, I just re-read your story - it took me quite a while but it was more than worth it. I even went to see what's going on at B & B and let me tell ya: I'm still glad I turned off. Alwayws the same old battles, no new ideas - well they could learn from you, my dear!
Please continue this story, it's so much joy to read - just like all your others. Any chance to see something new?
