And it was the best V-day ever! ;D ;D ;D You know I loved it. Cause you used my favorite Deacon line...ever! And Deacon was so Deacon. Especially in bar. I just hear him. And he was so concerned about Brooke and so gentle with her. And then, when she was ready for it, they were HOT. So....my overall review.... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Pam

Oh, Dot, thank you so much! ;D What a great Valentine's Day story, you really nailed Breacon and I enjoyed every word! Brooke and Deacon finally getting the opportunity to be a family together with Hope... *sigh*! You know that I, too, saw and came to believe in the connection that Brooke shared with Deacon and that it was so much more than just sex, and you just captured it all so well in your story. Deacon being blunt, many times rough, but completely honest, protective, and totally devoted is the man I remember. Brooke being open and confident around Deacon, enough to to let down her guard and just be herself was something I always wanted to see more of on the show ever since. Brooke and Deacon, loving or fighting, were always just so deeply connected and passionate. Through everything they were just so darn HOT together! While I appreciated your entire story, I have to especially thank you for having Brooke tell Deacon about Bridget and Ridge. Something that no one on the show told him about -- and of all the people involved -- I would have LOVED to see his reaction and never did get the chance. I also liked immensely when Deacon jumped Ridge, physically and verbally, for his assinine words and behavior towards Brooke. Just more of the emotional abuse Ridge heaps on Brooke that usually goes unchallenged. Ridge is such a wuss and girly-man, but he is too arrogant, stupid and egotistical to even realize that Deacon could take physically hurt him without much effort. Good thing Brooke was there to save Ridge's skinny butt, again, eh?! Your story was a really nice escape back to characters that I could invest in and thoroughly enjoy. This is the Breacon I remember so thanks again, Dot, from the bottom of my Breacon heart! Happy Valentine's Day, Dot!

This was such a special treat for us, thanks so much for it. I have to tell you I was peeked by your e-mail and when I saw tat it was for picture of Breacon, I was excited. I'll admit that Breacon was always my guilty pleasure, as you know. It always bothered me that Deacon was Bridget's husband. It could have worked, if it hadn't been for that. (sigh) I also liked how you aged Hope giving her a chance to spend time with her father and to relate to him, something that doesn't have on the show. It was nice to see that Deacon could prove himself as a real father to Hope, who needed one. Also, you did a wonderful job capturing the moments of Ohi (sp?) that Deacon and Brooke shared. During that time, I truly believed that Deacon loved Brooke and she adored and was falling for him. Brooke created a tender side to Deacon to Deacon who I honestly believed started to love someone other than himself. As for Bridget, I thank you for dealing with the fact that I believe that Ridget happened because Bridget wanted to get back at her mother, not because of any real feelings that Bridget had for Ridge. I also thank you for having Brooke remind Ridge that he raised Bridget as his daughter for the first seven years of her life. UGH....this is what I hate about Bell. He has no consistancy with his writing. No man who raises his child for seven years would ever think about sticking his tounge in his "daughter's" mouth unless he was a sick pervert. The scenes between Brooke and Deacon were very sweet especially with Hope. I loved the happy ending. They were so darling. I love it! I loved this story......very nice and perfect for V day. The only complaint...it should have been longer. LOL...you know me always angling for more. So...what's next. How about you do a spin off with Brooke and a man from another soap from like Y&R. I've love it. Hey...Pam got what SHE wanted.

Dot, So sweet. So touching. I'm glad Deacon and Brooke were able to find happiness and Bridget was able to see the errors of her ways. As always I loved your Hope and her relationship with Brooke. It's so sweet and loving. Thanks for the Valentine's Treat, Yash Thanks for reading and I'm glad that you enjoyed it! And hey, see I can have my Brooke procreate too LOLOL!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Pam Princess Pam, the woman of few words! But then I know I've done the job when I get one of those EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE's! LOL! Yes, I had to use your favorite Deacon line, it was a classic. He was very Deaconish in the bar, but he also was with Brooke. That tender side came out when he was with the two women he loved most in the world. I'm glad you asked me to do this. I had so much fun with it. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea (that one's for Cidy and Sux LOL) but I always loved them and if I can't have Bricky Breacon would be my next choice! Thanks for the comments and I am eagerly awaiting the OTHER comments. I believe they are scheduled to start errrrrrr tommorrow???

This is the Breacon I remember so thanks again, Dot, from the bottom of my Breacon heart! Happy Valentine's Day, Dot! I was really hoping you'd like it. You were one of the biggest Breacon fans I knew and I loved them too. I tried to capture what we saw and what made us love them. Brooke became so strong and secure with Deacon. They shared a very strong connection and it wasn't just sex. They were kindred souls and they knew each other. They could cut down through the bullshit to get to each other in good and in bad ways. I hated that they weren't allowed to be together on the show. Once more this was a pairing that didn't suit Bridget and the man seemed to be made for Brooke. When Hope was conceived, I wanted Deacon and only Deacon to be her father. I know many wanted and still want Thorne or Ridge, but to me Hope was conceived it might not have been in love, but that love came from that conception and I think it was a good love. I'm glad you enjoyed Deacon taking Ridge to task. Pam asked for that and I happily obliged! hehehe! I'm glad I wrote the story and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for taking the time to read it and to leave your comments, they are oh so very much appreciated!

The only complaint...it should have been longer. LOL...you know me always angling for more. So...what's next. How about you do a spin off with Brooke and a man from another soap from like Y&R. I've love it. Hey...Pam got what SHE wanted. Breacon was my pleasure too, but I don't think it was a guilty one LOL! I just am not nor have I ever been invested in Bridget. I wanted so much to like her but I just haven't been able to since she slapped Brooke and took up for Taylor back as a young girl. And then she's done nothing more than annoy me with how she interferes in her mother's love life and claims men who are better suited to be her father than her husband or lover. So to me Bridget was expendable and Breacon was the desired result. I know that at the time of my story Hope was younger, but I didn't think it would hurt to age her and it was so much better for story purposes. I wanted to show them as a family and I wanted Deacon's love for Hope to help melt Brooke's heart. I agree with you that Brooke brought out the best in Deacon, but he also brought out something good in her. If they had been given a chance they would have been dynamite. I knew from the start that I had to resolve Brooke and Bridget mess and to me the only reasonable reason for Bridget to act that way with Ridge would have to be out of a subconscious need for revenge. So I went with it and I knew I could heal Brooke and her daughter in the end. As for Ridge, I didn't want to make him the enemy and I didn't want to keep him acting like a pervert, so I went with his initial explanation, but without Brooke buying a word of it. I had to make him work hard for what he wanted and learn from it, but I also knew that he wasn't going to win in the end, but that he would have Brooke's forgiveness. I'm glad I could give the story a happy ending. I know it might have been a bit hokey, but it was a Valentine and that was what I wanted LOL! As for another one shot, I'd like to do one, but Changes comes first. As for doing a cross over from another show, that's hard. I really only watch Bold and aside from Malcolm, there isn't a man on Y & R that I like enough to want with Brooke. But you can email me some suggestions and ideas cause I like to make people happy! Thanks so much for reading so quickly and commenting so quickly too! And as for the banner, the talented Cindy made that for me too! Thanks Cindy!

Dot, what a wonderful Breacon story. God, I can't tell you how I miss that sexy Deacon. He and Brooke just lit up the screen for me and I would take him over Nick and Ridge anyday.
Ok, your story was great and so true to the characters as I remember them. I wanted Deacon to so badly beat the crap out of Ridge, but I knew that when Brooke asked him not to, he wouldn't. Brooke brought out the best in Deacon, and he loved her for who she was...no judging, no expectations, just pure love.
I loved sweet Hope in this story. I loved how easy she accepted Deacon back in her life and how she was so intune with her parents, that she knew they loved each other before Brooke did.
I love these little short stories and this one was close to my heart and pure joy. Breacon was hot, sexy, and a guitly pleasure that I still love to this day. I may just have to dig out my old tapes and rewatch Breacon once again.
Thanks Dot.

At first I was having trouble. It was hard to get back into the swing of it and Pam had asked for me to take it from the aborted wedding but to have Deacon the one that came to Brooke. So once more I had to deal with Ridget and see how I would do it. That was the hardest part. But it was hard trying to come up with a reason for Deacon to be there at first. What was easy was the raport between Brooke and Deacon, it just flowed for me. I wanted it to be a one shot so I had to make time move. I had promised Pam a Valentine story with a happy ending. But the wedding was after Valentines day. So I knew I had my work cut out for me. I knew where I wanted to end and I knew what I wanted to deal with. Hopefully I made it flow and people enjoyed it. I like the one shots too. They're fun to write and to read. Thanks for reading and for your comments!

You know Dot I wasn't sure if I would like a Breacon story. When they first happened on the show I HATED the whole SL. But then I got sucked in by the HOT chemistry that they had together and I couldn't help myself. It was kind of like rubberneckin on a six car pile up, you KNOW you shouldn't be but you just can't help yourself. I do want Bricky most of all, but if that wasn't in the cards I could settle for Breacon and be happy about it. So I Loved the story it was a nice Valentine's treat. (even if I am totally against V-Day or as I'm calling it this year Black Tuesday ) And you gals got me curious as to what Deacon's signature phrase is... Do tell! I liked the way that you had them get back together slowly with Hope instigating the final step. I love any Hope scene, that doll just steals the show! And I actually didn't want to throttle Bridget there at the end. She owned up for her mistakes and gave Brooke her blessing.

He said it long after they were over, when she was getting back with Ridge and she begged Deacon to stop. Pam and I both fell big time for it. I loved Breacon, I know it was bad, but it was so good too. But yes, it was damaging for Brooke the way it was done. Imagine if she had had a thing with the bad boy but he hadn't been married to her daughter. It would have been hot, naughty but still okay for most people. Those who called her a slut still would so who cares. Anyway, Pam asked me to do this story and I had a lot of fun with it. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I thank you for reading and commenting. As for VDay, I'm with you all the way! LOL!

Yum, Dot, I really enjoyed my Valentinefs Day treat! Not too sweet and the caloric count was just right. Deacon and Brooke, you couldnft have served up anything I would have liked better. Bell is such a blind fool, I canft believe the missed opportunities and wasted chemistry that man throws away. He has absolutely no vision, thank goodness you do.
I particularly liked the way you let it play out over a year and didnft rush things. I liked seeing Deacon earn his way into Brooke and Hopefs hearts, healing himself in the process. Youfre darling little Hope is quite the matchmaker! And it was good to see someone call Ridge out and get in a lick or two. Although I still think he got off too easy, LOL. It was so nice to see Bridget get behind her mother, acknowledge and take responsibility for her actions during Ridget, and embark on a life of her own. At last she showed some real maturity and forgiveness rather than being some trumped up sniveling false idol to victimized martyrdom. Bell should take a lesson from you. And what could be better than seeing my favorite bad boy (in black leather, no less) turn his life around and bring true love and happiness to my favorite storm tossed heroine! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! All the ends so nicely tied up in one sweet package wrapped up in passionate red cellophane with a romantic pink bow for good measure. Thanks for the special treat, it really started my day with a smile. Herefs wishing you a Valentinefs day filled with smiles and sweet things too, cheers!
Valentine Scrooges? You do know it is okay to indulge yourselves, right? That is a good knack to have even if the right Valentine comes along, LOL. It never hurts to have a good sense of humor either. Oh God could I tell you a story or two from personal experience. It could be worse, you could be stuck with a guy with Ridge's sense of how to celebrate the day, ugh.

I forgot to ask about that! Yes, I remember that line sending shivers down my spine, too. It was said in Portofino after Deacon and Eric ran into Brooke and Ridge in the hotel hallway where Ridge (who was at that in the dark about Breacon) ended up sucker punching Deacon. Brooke stepped in between Deacon and Ridge and she gave Deacon a pleading look, and Deacon said: "Only for you, Brooke, only for you..." Meaning that was the ONLY reason he stopped from taking Ridge's head off and then Deacon left. Whew!

Wow, I finally got you to read something of mine! Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it and you can thank Pam for begging me to do this for her. Thanks for the comments on my time line. I wanted to do a one shot and I wanted it to be a decent length but easy to read too. It's hard to get a lot of story into a little space and I did a lot of thinking as to when to cut and what to include. I'm glad you liked how I did it. And yes, I wanted Deacon to earn his way back in and at the same time for Brooke's mind to open and her heart to melt. I didn't want the story to be about Bridget, though she was a catalyst. And I wanted the healing of the mother and daughter, but only if the truth came out. To me the only viable reason for Ridget was revenge, even if it was subconscious. Ridge may have gotten off a bit too easy, but if I had spent too much time on it the story could have ended up centered on him and believe me, I know we all have enough of that with Brad LOL! I wanted a sweet, happy story where everyone could walk away with a smile. I'm glad that I did that for you! And thanks for the reading, comments and Valentine's wishes!
