Oh Dot what a great little novella. Breacon were and are so hot. You made them hot yet sweet. Hope is just a doll and loves all her "daddys". LOL
I loved the nice use of history in the story of the nasty Ridget SL that ruined Ridge once and for all for many Brookefans. How I wish he will be rebuffed on the current show, as he was here.
Lastly the ending had everything, including a big juicy cherry on top...maybe a little boy cherry.
Happy Valentine's Day Dot and thank you! ;D ;D

I always wanted to see more of Deacon and Hope, even when Nick came on, I enjoyed seeing Deacon interact with them all. This was such a fun story to write and I was so glad to be able to deal with Ridget in a way that satisfied me and then to give Brooke a happy ending too. You think it's a boy? Hmmmmm. Maybe some day a sequel?? Shhhhhhh don't tell Pammie!

I just can't believe what I just read, tears are in my eyes and 'the all time love story' for Brooke written in a way that brought those tears to my eyes. As you know, I was one of the huge Breacon fans and would love to see them happen again. My heart just melted when you have them in the ferris wheel, I could even feel the passion, the warmth, the caring inside of both characters.
And the part where Deacon stood up to Ridge, just brought back all the memories of a Man, called Deacon Sharpe that did love Brooke with his heart and soul, and would never back down to Ridge.
I also loved how you made Brooke the strong person like she was with Deacon, the way I remember her loving him, and telling him that he would be the man that made her forget Ridge Forrester.
What a wonderful Valentine's Present for me, I will always love Breacon, forever and a day.
Congratulations Dot on a winner, a story that will live in my heart!

I'm so glad you read it and enjoyed it. It's so nice to make all the old Breacon fans happy. I tried to bring in all the elements that we all loved so much about Breacon and yet stay true to the story from where I picked it up. Deacon and Brooke were such lost souls and they brought out so much passion in each other. And it was so much fun to be able to add Hope to the mixture. Thanks for taking the time to read it and comment on and I truly hope that soon you will return to Changes because without you, it probably would have died a long time ago!

Dot, thankyou so much for writing this Breacon story. You know how much of a Deacon fan I am. I loved the whole story. to me Breacon were the hottest couple on daytime. It ended so badly on the show but you proved how could have been written. Wonderful job. Loved it.

I loved this Breacon one-shot. You chose the perfect point to insert this storyline where it would make the most sense for it to happen. We got resolution to issues that the show didn't address...like Bridget being interested in Ridge as a reaction to Brooke and Deacon.
Funny how you peg Ridge and show what a moron he is. After this obnoxious outburst and calling Brooke a whore, he thinks it can be shrugged off and go back into charming mode. Blech. He is just so clueless and arrogant. Glad that Brooke ended that encounter with, "there is no us" before kicking him out.
Of course I love how you write Deacon so in character, especially when he says the things we'd long to hear on the show. Loved that wisecrack to Ridge about his "Woody Allen like feelings for Bridget". So spot on! But Deacon said such wonderful things to Brooke too...and good for her ego. He is not judgmental either. Brooke deserves that.
Their incendiary chemistry came back full-force. Hope's precocious request for Mommy and Daddy to kiss on the Ferris Wheel unleashed Brooke's urgent need. You portray the aching intensity so well!
Thankfully, Bridget matured and had keen insight about her past relationship with Deacon - that she was with him to feel grown-up, but instead felt like a child. Brooke had to be assured that Bridget had moved on before she could fully commit to Deacon.
And then on Valentine's they were both on the same page about taking the relationship to the next level. You really captured it. Thank you so much!

When Pam asked me to do the one shot I was having a hard time where to start it from. I told her that I didn't want it to be with Nick in the picture and she agreed. She actually suggested after the aborted wedding and I thought it would be the perfect spot for Deacon to come in.

Wow, Dot! That was really HOT! And I really liked how you explained Ridget. It's what I've said all along, it wasn't that kind of 'love' between them, but really a bond they didn't truly understand once Massimo planted rotten seeds in their minds. But it was really never dealt with on the show, I'm glad you did!
And Breacon was so hot, tender, sensual, cute, and lovely. Thanks for this special V-day story, Dot!

And Breacon was so hot, tender, sensual, cute, and lovely. Thanks for this special V-day story, Dot! I don't know what Ridget was, but for me it ruined both Bridget and Ridge forever. But in fan fiction we have the power to change things and in this story I've decided to let both of them realize what was going on. Each had a different reason and both hurt Brooke but at least they have learned from their mistakes and made a new and healthier relationship with everyone involved. I know that Breacon isn't everyone's favorite, but I loved them and their potential. They were certainly hot as all get out and I think Deacon loved Brooke stronger than just about anyone. But on the show his demons and his bad side won out. In my story love of a woman and a child made the bad boy made good decisions. Thanks so much for reading. Glad you enjoyed it!

Dot, I haven't forgotten you at all! I apologize for getting my comments so late. But, I have to laugh because as I told Montana Lindy elsewhere, you Breacon fans just won't quit! LOL!
What an engaging Valentines Day story! This story only reminds me that although I hated Breacon onscreen, I really enjoyed the way you wrote them in "Stolen Moments." I'm so glad that you dealt with the fallout of Ridget in your story. There was no vacillating on Brooke's part and no opportunity whatsoever for Ridge to worm his way back into her life. I was howling when you had the cleaning lady come into her financial windfall thanks to Ridge's foolishness and Brooke's generosity. LOL! I also believe that Bridget did what she did to get back at Brooke for Deacon and not because of any great love she had for Ridge himself. Honey, there isn't THAT much confusion in the world! I also loved that Brooke and Bridget were able to reconcile and that Bridget gave her blessing to Breacon. I will never forgive Brad Bell for setting up Brooke and Bridget to be romantic rivals!
I also like that Hope is old enough to appreciate Deacon's role in her life. Thank you so much for also allowing Brooke to tell Deacon the truth about why she left Ridge's sorry butt at the altar. How like Ridge to get all up in arms about Deacon, when it's frankly none of his business! I was thrilled when Deacon refused to allow Ridge to get away with disrespecting Brooke especially in her own house. I know if a man call me a whore in my own house, he would still be looking for his Minnie-me nuts all over L.A.! What kills me is that he actually thought he could entice Brooke to come back to him after that. Unbelievable. Well enough about that creep!
I loved the slow and leisurely pace of Brooke and Deacon's relationship just as co-parents. Deacon knew he had to earn his way back into Brooke and Hope's lives and he didn't push into areas where he may not have been wanted. Hope is so cute especially when she wanted Brooke and Deacon to kiss like people do in the movies. LOL! I just knew it would be all over when that happened! As always under your pen, Breacon were smoking HOT! I loved that they could celebrate their love free of guilt or any shame on Brooke's part. And, the Valentines Day gifts were perfect!
Thank you for a wonderful read!

Thank you for a wonderful read! LOL! We Breacon fans are a stubborn lot. But I really did like them. I hated the ick factor and I so wished that Brooke could have stolen him from Amber LOL! That would have been great story. I loved how protective of Brooke he was and how he gave it to Ridge, so I tried to show that Deacon in my story. I wanted this to be a clean story. I wanted the issues dealt with and put away. I wanted Ridget exposed. I wanted Ridge forgiven and a friend but still wanting Brooke. I wanted daughter to admit her motives for Ridget and her love for her mother. I wanted healing. I wanted to give Hope a daddy and I wanted to give Brooke a love, but I wanted it slow and believeable. I wanted Deacon redeemed and I wanted Brooke secure. Thank you for telling me that I succeeded and thank you for reading!
