What a great chapter. Poor Brooke, she was so happy and she’s lost it all. But I am glad that while she appreciates Eric’s support, she won’t take the step of a sham marriage. She will be strong. I hope she doesn’t give up on the love. Yes, we know what she doesn’t but she needs to keep her eyes open to what is going on around her. Bridget is so damn hateful. She will never be happy stealing someone else’s happiness. Call me mean but I want her to suffer and suffer badly.
Nick is a wreck. He wants to do what’s right, he wants Brooke and he has nothing either. I’m glad that Jackie is understanding and supportive. I hope that he doesn’t jump into marriage or sleeping with Bridget. He needs to show her that she may win in the end, but his anger will need much more time to abate.
And now who is that man in the bar? Someone we know? Someone new? Gotta be a light haired guy LOL! Whoever he is I hope he takes Bridget for all she is and ruins her plans too LOL!

I really felt Brooke and Nick's pain. It's a good thing Eric is being a good friend to Brooke while Jackie is comforting Nick. Bridget is just plain mean and evil. I think I like it better if she's evil. At least I can openly hate her for her evilness.

Let that stranger foil up Bridget's plans and like Dot said, I want her to suffer big time. Do come back soon. Your story is way ,way much better than on the show. Thanks.

Bridget is being the same self involved girl she has always been, in her mind it always seems to be about her.

Dot the mystery guy in the bar is a blonde. good guess, he will be a blessing and a curse to Bridget and she won't know what hit her.

I don't want to be like the show and have Brooke crying all the time, I want to show her being a strong woman and a loving mother but also show how hard all of this is for her. She will receive support from a couple of unexpected sources in the next couple of chapters.

I am working on chapter three as we speak.

Your Bridget is a bitch on wheels and I can't wait to see her get exactly what's coming to her. Evidently, she doesn't seem to realize that some fair-haired college boys have nasty little germs like V.D.

I feel horrible for both Brooke and Nick! I like that your Nick isn't willing to pretend and spare Bridget's little feelings. I love how she just takes it for granted that he still wants to get married after her monstrous "test." I'm glad that his mother is there for him.

I also appreciate that Brooke is trying to be strong here and not lean on Eric by entering into a sham marriage.

Norm, im really enjoying your story, i kinda cheated and read chapter 15 first. i was just browsing and decided to give it a try. ive read many a romance book and this is as good most, your are doing a great job. kudos to you!
