When we left off Ridge was at Forrester, sneaking around in the computers trying to find out about Brooke’s car and her address. He heard and saw someone and couldn’t believe his eyes.
Nick and Brooke were at Massimo’s penthouse. He had lent it to them to celebrate their engagement. They had finally made love.
And now, here is Chapter 16. Enjoy and please let me know what you think!

Hi Dot,
you never disappoint!!
I am back to work tomorrow after 4 days off (been so so busy at work and also understaffed, 1 vet short, parvovirus outbreak, etc etc ugh) and this has been an ideal end to my weekend (spent the afternoon at a beach carnival type of thing, with dodgem cars, carousels, ferris wheel etc )
Your Ridge is an interesting one, he seems quite deluded and then almost normal at times, but I have to believe he didn't know Nick was that badly injured, knowing Ridge he gave him a girly sissy push, and turned around and flounced out without realising Nick had a bad cut.
I can understand Macy's hesitance about coming out to Brooke/Thorne about the baby, but didn't she want to tell Ridge's kids? They wouldn't keep it quiet.
That Alexander is a worry (gossip columnist previously mentioned perchance? Hard to believe any of them are straight , attractive men!)
I like the Megan/Hank thing!
Brooke and Nick seem so solid, I hope she doesn't get too paranoid about Massimo's influence over him (is Mass his father in this fanfic?)
I have to go now, starving!!

You got me hooked from the first line I read!
I really like your bricky pairing. They are a great team.
I hope Rigde doesn't cause to much trouble.
I also like the Hope and Deacon pairing and he is so great towards Brooke.

Dot, this chapter is amazing. Ridge is scaring the hell out of me. He's delusional and all that anger towards Nick is not healthy. Poor Brooke, I hope after this she keeps her distance from Ridge but only after giving Ridge a piece of her mind. Your Nick is so wonderful and loving. Wished he's like this in the show but sadly he's half the man he was since Nicket. How sad.
Eric is a bit pushy and I'm guessing that it's Stephanie at his door. Jackie should enjoy her freedom and not let any of these two men influenced her. Deacon is slowly making his way into my heart. I love him with Hope but not as much as Nick of course. Please don't let this accident hinder Nick's progress to recovery too much. I want a healthy Nick and an amazing Bricky wedding.
Thanks girl, you rock as a writer. Hope to see your updates sooner.

Thanks Barbara Sounds like you're very busy, but with some good stuff too thankfully! I like your take on Ridge and yeah, you're right. Ridge may hate Nick but he has enough conscience that he'd have to make sure he wasn't dead or dying. He doesn't know how badly hurt Nick was. But will anyone believe him? Macy doesn't want her plan ruined. I think she feels that if she can get Ridge's kids to accept her that he will too. She doesn't want them to tell anyone, but she needs them on her side at the same time. Alexander and Simon seem to be up to something, but what? It is true that Alexander seemed a lot more interested once he knew Donna was Donna LOGAN. And that does make one curious, but I won't tell any more. I'm glad you like Megan and Hank. I thought it might be fun to develop Hank some more and I thought Megan could use a hottie too! Brooke and Nick are very strong and very happy but Brooke is very angry about Massimo. In ITNOT we do not know if Massimo is Nick's father. It has been hinted at, but then Frank seems very interested too. To be perfectly honest I have ideas for either scenerio so it's going to take a while to play out. Thanks so much for reading and commenting! |

Greetz lien Ridge is causing a lot of trouble, but he really has enough of his own problems to keep getting involved in Brooke's life. Deacon is really trying to make something of his life and he loves Hope and he still does love Brooke too. He's accepted that Brooke and Nick are in love and very happy but he also still feels protective of Brooke and is not going to just sit there and watch Ridge ruin things with Nick for her. Ridge is very delusional. He refuses to listen to anyone. Brooke loves him, but she is no longer IN LOVE with him. He could still have her in his life, but he just won't sit back and see what he is throwing away. Now he's pushed things too far and he's probably not going to be able to fix it. Eric is falling in love with Jackie and he wants things to happen almost too quickly. I can understand his wanting to take her to bed, but he has to respect her and her not wanting anything until she is ready. As for Massimo, he hated him before he ever met Jackie, so this isn't as if she is just dating another man, her dating Massimo is like a slap in the face. But they both need to chill out and let Jackie make her own decisions. Deacon is supportive of Brooke and Nick and he loves his daughter. He's still struggling with his addictions but I think having Brooke and NIck on his side will be helpful too. I'm not sure how anyone else will feel about his return, well except for Amber who is already remembering him quite fondly LOL! Nick's injury was serious but it was treated in time. But the progress will be slowed down since he can't use both arms to work the walker. We know that this is going to frustrate him to no end and it will make him even angrier with Ridge, no matter what excuses the man makes. Thanks so much for reading and leaving me your comments! |
