Wow, and people get on me about the evil cliffies! Naturally, I believe that Nick will be fine...because where's the story if you killed him? Can't go around killing Brooke's heroes off. She doesn't have very many!
I am really liking the interaction with Donna and Brooke and am glad she is staying with Brooke right now.
Hope is priceless. Nick asks if she's behaving. 'No.' LOLOL. That whole conversation is too cute. And then Nick and Brooke's subsequent conversation(s) with him are just adorably sweet and shy and sexy all at once. It does seem that if they are moving at breakneck speed here and I hope that won't come back to haunt them in any real way.
And as disgustingly entitled and perverted as Ridge is in this story, I can't help but applaud him telling Stephanie to stick it and that she has no say. It's too little too late, but perhaps Ridge isn't completely hopeless and worthless afterall.
Yay for Brooke! For telling Ridge where to stick it. For telling him off for him condescending to forgive her for succumbing to the one man (at that point) who put her first, who made her his everything and who would have done anything to make her happy and eradicated anyone that hurt her. Bravo for Brooke for sending Ridge packing after telling him how stupid and wrong and pathetic he's been for all this time.
And I'm actually curious about the Jackie/Mass/Steph story. It's all weaving together quite nicely, actually. It's a bit anvilly, but I'm hoping the anvils are just red herrings and that Nick and Ridge are not related by blood in any way. I'm really very curious about Jackie and Mass' past now. Obviously they had an intimate relationship that was curtailed abruptly by her husband. And said husband seemed to have saw to it that Jackie believed she was just another Marone fling and his all attempts at communication from Mass. And Mass' intense reaction to Jackie's statement about him never wanting more or to settle down with her. Interesting. I look forward to more pieces of this puzzle.
Great Job, Queenie.
