Ohhhhh Gavin is going to be jealous! I am so telling! I bet Brooke is going to illicit a lot of stares at the 50's restaurant! hee hee, it's like Halloween (which is so fun!) Brooke sounded like she was having a great time with Brandon. I really am fond of him, but damn an accent will win me over every time, well that or a white naval uniform. Hubba hubba! heeeeee. I'm kind of routing for Gavin, but I like Brandon too oh decisions decisions, Brooke's got some Hard choices ahead of her oh my!
This was a great chapter! Deacon was so UN-Deacon like, I almost didn't recognize him LOL.. And I'm glad you had the twins decide to do three fragrances and that Brooke was down with it. That way they can do their own individual thing and collaborate on one together too. Taylor trying to back off of Donovan, too bad he's too smart to be fooled. He knows she's got the hots for him! I am SO routing for Donovan. Hee hee I'd like to see him take a swing at Ridge. You know usually when Ridge is MIA in a story I am all happy, but I'm so dying to know what that evil punk is up to, that I'm actually asking well what about Ridge? OMG never thought I'd say that! And Phoebe with her ESP, I have a feeling it is going to get her into some trouble. I'm kind of afraid at what Ridge might do to her if she pokes around and reveals why Brooke is all done with him. I don't trust that slime, I know what he's capable of!
I can't wait to find out who is Hope's daddy. I'm pulling for Gavin. It would be OK if it was Deacon's, but if it was Ridge's damn, I wouldn't wish those genes on poor little Hope. I wouldn't want her to turn out to be a psychopath too

Well, it looks like Brooke has her options. She really is so cute about her crush on Brandon and yet I think Gavin could be good for her too. I really do like them both and you’re making it very hard for me to decide whom to root for.
I loved Brooke’s poodle skirt. She’s so adorable to want to do everything just right. I think Brandon has the early lead for her heart but if Gavin turns out to be Hope’s daddy then that changes everything.
Both these men are great. They respect Brooke, they like her, they want to make her smile. What more can a girl ask for?
I loved Deacon. He’s different and yet a little bit the same. I have a part of me that will always love Breacon so I’m sort of rooting for him to be Hope’s dad, except that he couldn’t claim her because of Bridget, so maybe Gavin is best. OMG please don’t make her Ridge’s. You can give us a scare if you want but save poor little Hope for the fate of being the spawn of Satan’s spawn. I know that Deacon isn’t a major character but I like that you’ve given him some success and a good woman. Thanks for that.
Again I loved t he interaction between Brooke and Taylor and the twins. It was fun and cute watching the twins and I really did like seeing Brooke respect Taylor and try to help her with a difficult situation. I’m sure that things might get a little strange when they find out about Ridge though. And good for Donavan. I knew he wouldn’t want to give up on Taylor. She isn’t ready yet but she will be and I’d like to see her happy. The extra perk would be that the perv would be even more miserable.

Brooke is going to be feeling guilty and conflicted soon about Gavin and Brandon. She's really not lying or deceiving anyone, but it is not in her nature to play with two hearts (and that is how she will feel about it). But she still is going to have some fun as each man "woos" her and tries to sweep her off of her feet. The only problem is her fears about Ridge. It's not just the paternity issue; Phoebe is right - Brooke is afraid of Ridge with good reason.

Deacon is far from a major character in this story, but we will see him a few more times and learn that it was his relationships with Bridget and Brooke that enabled him to love again. He has grown and mellowed, but he is fiercely protective of those he cares about and that now includes little Hope. (A little spoiler - guess which Laughlin restaurant will feature artwork by BH's newest painter?)

I find Ridge much more interesting when he is evil (I hated him when he wanted to seize Forrester from Brooke and then from Eric, but he was interesting). He will reappear in the next chapter, worse than ever and with a plan of destruction.

As for Hope's daddy, wait and see.

It always mystified me that beautiful, supposedly intelligent women like Brooke and Taylor would be fighting over Ridge. And, it was a further mystery that Brooke had no men pursuing her - I mean Connor and Grant, but that was it. Where I live, she would have to beat them off with a large stick. I want to give her that romance and fun and to enjoy it. I'm not sure yet who I want her to end up with. I love English accents, but a man who would love me in a poodle skirt and bobby sox would be hard to resist. Next up: Gavin intensifies his pursuit.

I didn't really like Deacon with Brooke (only because Brooke would never do that to her daughter), which is why for me it was strictly one night for two lonely souls who reached out to each other. I do think Deacon was softer because of Brooke and Bridget and I want to explore that side when he's in the story. But, don't worry, he's still Deacon.

Ridge will be back next chapter and I promise you that he will be even scummier.

Donovan saw right through Brooke's story and he isn't giving up. What will be amazing to him is his depth of feeling - he was thinking some fun where nobody got hurt; but her resistance is not only making Taylor more desirable, but also changing this from thoughts of a fling to a long-term relationship.
