Janice your going to have to explain your car lingo to me. I'm afraid I don't have the foggiest idea what a Q & M is or a DB9. Wait is Q & M from Get Smart?
I'm really liking this Sir Gavin. Suave englishman that could be Hope's father. Now I'm just horrified at who the other possiblity could be. Dear God I hope it's NOT Ridge. Maybe it would make things a little easier for Bridget if Hope wasn't Deacon's daughter although in your story she seems to have genuinely forgiven Brooke.
I love that Brooke has two HoT guys panting over her and Ridge is getting thrown out on his ass!

Q & M are from James Bond.
I loved this chapter and I love Brooke having two hot and nice men wanting her. I was so scared about Deacon not being the dad until you said maybe Gavin but now I am HORRIFIED that Ridge might be! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please no!
I wonder how Donovan and Gavin will react to one another if both are vieing for Brooke's attentions.
I loved how supportive Rick is. What a sweetie.
I really hate Ridge. He's so vile. I'm glad that Eric tried to protect both Brooke and Taylor. I like your Taylor a lot. I will try not to hate her after Bell's Taylor tries to ruin Bricky soon LOL!
I loved your dinner description and I loved the dessert. Is that a real place and a real dessert? I have two buddies in Detroit so I might have to send them there LOL!
This was such a treat today! I can't wait for what happens next!

A DB9 is the latest Aston-Martin of the classic DB5 used by James Bond in most of the movies. M is Bond's supervisor and Q is the inventor who comes up with all the wild gadgets for Bond. The Vanquish is another Aston-Martin and one of the fastest cars in the world. You'll have to wait and see who the other candidate for Hope's father is, but you do know how much I despise Ridge. |

We don't know where Donovan is going yet; maybe she'll have a third suitor or maybe not. You know how I feel about Ridge. So would I really want him as Hope's father? And who would cause that reaction in Brooke? The Rattlesnake Club is a real very exclusive restaurant in Detroit. The owner/chef is Jimmy Schmidt, Detroit's most famous chef. And, yes, that is a real dessert. He used to be the chef at London Chop House in Detroit (now closed) and he brought some into where I worked then for me to try. It is incredible! |

Now if it's not Ridge she is afraid of is it the sweatermonkey? I really don't want Hope to be a Forrester! PLEASE!

Okay...so I'm offically late to the party. I do remember reading the first chapter to this story years ago but I busy and I never got back to it. BUT...imagine my surprise when I started reading this chapter. OHHH it's soo good. But I've forgotten how this chapter started. Where can I go back to the beginning.
So...here are some questions that are probably answered, but how to Gavin and Brooke know each other. So...I'm assuming if he could be Hope's father, then they slept together. What happened and why did it end.
I really love how he took wonderful care of Brooke. You described not only the cars and the food beautifully, you have me feening for a that White Chocolate Ravoli...mmmmm sounds good. By reading others comments, I'm assuming that Brooke has another rivial but I honestly love Gavin so far. Great job...I'm so excited. I'm on to the next chapter! ")

") Missy, I am so sorry I never responded to your post. I don't know how I missed it. Gavin came to Paris to buy some clothes for his mother and met Brooke when he was at Forrester International. He fell for her instantly and she enjoyed his company. They went horseback riding in the French countryside and Brooke was going to join Gavin at his estate in England when Ridge showed up in Paris and took her back to L.A. The White Chocolate Ravioli is marvelous! I just checked The Rattlesnake Club's websites and see that they don't list it anymore. If I can find the recipe I got from Jimmy Schmidt, I will post it. I've made it once - mine tasted okay. His was fabulous and looked beautiful. |
