Wow, what a wonderful start. First off let me say that I laughed my butt off over poor Ridge. What a fitting development that is hehehe! I can understand why he is angry, discouraged and has lost his ability to design as well. I'd think however that he might find it better to try and get into life to remedy the situation, but we know how stubborn he is. I like the way you have given Brooke and Taylor a civil relationship. There is still some tension but I think that they can work together and that's very intriguing. I'm very curious as to what Brooke wants with the girls. Of course you nailed Stephanie and I really liked how Brandon put her in her place. I'm glad that Eric is still respectful of Brooke and that he listens to her suggestions and makes his own back to her. It's a very good working relationship. So Brooke has sworn off of men. Hmmmm, but have they sworn off her? I think that is highly unlikely. I'm wondering if Brandon is going to start having designs of another kind, those on Brooke's heart. I adored the tiny glimpse of Hope but live in fear of her paternity LOL! Can I put in a "Please not a Forrester" right now? Thanks so much for your contribution to this board and I look forward to more!

Better Hope be a Forrester, Dot, then her daughter's husband's.
Janice, I really enjoyed this chapter. I'm dying to find out more about Brandon.
Brooke may have sworn off men, but I don't think Brandon knows that.
I do like the civil relationship between Brooke and Taylor.
Poor Ridge acting like a baby because life isn't going his way. GROW UP!! Poor Taylor. Why does she put up with this?
Welcome to the board,
Yash

Better Hope be a Forrester, Dot, then her daughter's husband's. Yash Not to me. I loved Breacon and I hate Ridge. I never wanted her to be any of the Forresters, the thought makes me want to puke! I don't want Hope ruined.

I like it a lot Janice! Great Start! You know when you first mentioned your story and that Ridge would have a little problem that no amount of Vaigra would be able to fix... in my head I was thinking more along the lines of Hedge Clippers. But I think I acutally like this better it's more ironic that it's in his head and he's married to a shrink and can't fix it. Yes I think I rather enjoy that irony. I'm also liking this Bradon guy, the way he stood up to Stephanie was great and I like that he sees Brooke in different light than what he thought he would. I think I also like this idea of bringing the twins into the business, I see Brooke developing a twin line, ala Mary Kate and Ashley, each with their own personality and having the twins be spokesmodels. They could be the fresh face of the younger generation one a little more sassy than the other without being as down right trashy as the Amrosia line. Maybe one is sporty and one is classsy. That's my guess on Brooke's project anyway and I think it sounds like a good idea. Besides what can witchy Stephanie say to diss it, when they are her grandchildren. I like that Eric is beind supportive of Brooke, and any scene with Hope in it is a winner IMO. I even like that Taylor and Brooke are civil with each other. I especially like that Brooke has sworn off Ridge for good. I think Brandon should build him and Taylor an office with a steam room, jacuzzi and a big heart shaped bed along with a tiny desk LOL! Come back and post more soon!

Very good start, Janice. I find myself excited about the new building that Brooke is having built. I especially liked how Brandon stood up to the old battleaxe, Stephanie. I can't wait to see what Brooke has planned for the twins.
The best part of your chapter...Ridge's wee wee doesn't work, LOL.
Keep it up Janice. I look forward to the next chapter.

Dot, I "hope" you like the twists and turns that revealing Hope's parentage will take. It may be the most sinister part of my story. And you know how I feel about Ridge, but there will be suspicions.
In the next few chapters, I will be showing how frustrated Taylor is with her marital situation and how Ridge misunderstands her frustration. But that's Ridge - he thinks with Little Ridge and he's out of commission right now.
Yash, Brandon is much more intrigued by Brooke now than he ever was from the headlines. He admires her beauty, but is far more entranced by her mind and her ideas. This will be a great change for Brooke, if she'll take a chance.
To be honest, I was playing with a "Lorena Bobbitt" SL for Ridge, but I want this to be something he has to deal with on his own and take most of the blame for.
Yes, Brooke has big future plans for the company and many of them will be revealed at the meeting in Chapter 2.
Massimo is in my story in a very marginal way, but watch for him to pull some very shady strings to get Stephanie what she wants.

Thanks for the kind words. Right now, Stephanie hates Brandon, but watch for that to change. And guess why? I'm terrible and I wanted to punish Ridge in a way that Brad never would. This could be a real growth experience (no pun intended) for Ridge, but knowing Ridge it probably won't be.

I really like the first chapter. So will Brandon somehow turn out to be Hope's father. Can't wait for more.
