Poor Phoebe. I really felt for her in this chapter. Steffie was being a very supportive sister. I know she was hurt that Phoebe didn’t want to talk to her right away but she understood that it was Bridget who might be able to put it into perspective for her. As for Bridget, I have the same problem with her that I have with my own Bridget. I know your Bridget and mine in Changes are nice girls, sweet and loving and considerate girls, but I hate the character on the show so much that I tend to just hate her on principle if you know what I mean. But I really like what you’re doing with Bridget and that she is in a good and normal relationship. I like that she respects Brooke and worries about her. I wonder about how much she knows about how Ridge has changed and if she still has a closeness to him. It might make it harder for her to completely support her mother right now. I also wonder if the Deacon secret is going to have to come out. Who does Bridget think IS Hope’s father? In fact who does everyone think is Hope’s father? I know that there was no Breacon affair, just the one night, but what does everyone else thing happened? Anyway, I like that Bridget is helping Phoebe.
I love how Lady Tudor thinks that a call to the consulate can fix everything. Maybe in their proper world, but not in a world with people like Ridge or Stephanie Forrester. I wish that they could just declare him the father and be done with it. I’d love him to be the father, I love Deacon and he can be the father, in fact I’d prefer anyone and anything other than Ridge. I can’t wait to see where this will all end up. I think it’s cute that with all that is going on that Gavin is still trying to get Brooke to eat something and that she has picked up his habit and when Connor and Taylor and Donovan arrived she was concerned with them having breakfast too! LOL! I wonder if Brooke is going to have to tell them all about Deacon. I’m glad that Donovan was there for Taylor and that they all seem to trust him.
I really enjoyed the chapter but I have to wonder how you’re going to bring Brandon into all of this mess LOL!

Dot, I really know what you mean about Bridget. When I'm writing her in my story or reading her in yours, I just keep Agnes Bruckner in my mind. It does help. (I never liked JF in the role - she always seemed too strident and shrill to be Brooke's and Eric's daughter. At first, I thought AJ was a slight improvement, but now I can't stand her either.) Bridget assumes, along with just about everyone else, that Hope was the product of a passionate fling in Paris. She really had hoped Ridge was the father and expressed this hope to Brooke. That's why she knew that Brooke was asleep on the plane. She may find out about Deacon, but she will learn just how it happened and this is a more mature Bridget than Bell has ever penned. There will be some conflicts, but she loves Doug completely and that will help her deal with it. Ridge is going to kill the love Bridget still has for him in a way that I hope will knock your socks off.
I don't know what Bell is doing with his twins, but mine aren't going anyplace. Steffie is ready to go after her father with fire in her heart. She loves her whole family and has lots of friends, but she adores her sister like no one else and wants to make her father pay for how he hurt her. Phoebe will be punishing herself for Ridge's feelings and soon her sixth sense will come into play.
You're right, Lady Tudor has never dealt with the Forresters and their type of treachery. But it will not hurt to keep the Consul General apprised of things. He may be able to help. Gavin really is concerned that Brooke keep her strength up - that's why he keeps pushing food. For Brooke, it is more a matter of courtesy. Silly as it seems, she thinks you offer someone food when they visit you.
Right now, it seems like Brandon is the last thing on Brooke's mind. But he will be plunged back into the life of Brooke when she least expects it.
