Janice,
Although I'm definitely a bridge fan ; i 've to admit that i love the dynamic of your story and I'm curious to knows what would Brooke be frighten of from Ridge. You really make him a pain in the ass; may i hope a little improvement or may i get myself prepare for the worst?.

Thanks for the compliment about my story. I haven't liked Ridge for a long time and that's probably obvious. Ultimately, I think you may like where I'm going with him, but it's going to be very long road and things might get very ugly before they get better.

Great chapter. I am really liking your Taylor, and feeling very sorry for her too. She hasn't got a real marriage, she is starving for affection and support and trying to protect her children at the same time. I understand that she and Brooke aren't friends but they respect each other and work together rather well.
I was never interested in the Tridge children on the show but you have me interested in the twins. You've given them personalities and a life that the show hasn't.
Brooke was like a school girl and that was so cute. She is determined to forget about a personal life but she sure has a crush going doesn't she? LOL! She's a beautiful, smart, classy woman but she deserves some fun too. I think Brandon is going to have something to say about that too.
Ridge is an Asshole with a capital A. He is arrogant but only in bad ways. He has no class, no compassion and is a totally selfish prick. He treats his wife like a second class citizen, he treats his children like they don't matter and now he's terrifying Brooke. I can't wait to see what punishments await him because he certainly deserves it!
Can't wait to learn more about Donovan. He sounds interesting too!
Liking Kristen and Pierce too!
Thanks for the fun chapter and eagerly awaiting more!

Ridge can't get it up.. Ridge can't get it up.. ROTFLMAO! Sorry I just couldn't help myself. Ridge thinks everyone is laughing about him when really it's just ME!
Brooke should knee him in the groin considering how he ain't using it right now anyway. Ridge is really being a total arse. The way he's treating Taylor and his children is appaling. I really feel bad for them.
Brooke daydreaming about Brandon, I bet they will be working closely on this project together. Kristen is starting to come out to her family about Pierce.
I'm dyng to know if Brooke kicks Ridge's butt herself or if she calls in security to escort him out. What a lame threat he made to quit, DUH he's not even working right now anyway, where's the big loss?

Dot,
I'm glad you're enjoying this and even liking Taylor. Of course, my main interest is Brooke and her loves, but I want to show Taylor growing in this story and wanting more than Ridge can offer her (even if and when he's functioning).
While I'm mainly interested in adults, I always feel B&B misses the boat with the kids. With the exception of Hope, who is a wonderful character, they treat them like miniature adults. When they appear, they will definitely be "kids" of various ages. I think the dynamic of twins is fascinating and I do want to play with that here.
I want this "crush" to be so new to Brooke. She had focused on Ridge from when she was still basically a "girl" and it was never fun for her. I want this infatuation with Brandon to be fun, youth-giving, and reciprocated. At times, she may be slightly embarrassed (even if only she has witnessed her "silliness"), but I want her to have fun with this relationship, even while she's fighting to be businesslike the whole time. Brandon is experiencing a similar fascination, but his only qualms are his sense that Brooke is not interested. If he detects the slightest mutual feeling from her, his romance will sweep all of us off our feet.
I have thought for some time that Ronn Moss does his best acting when he is being sinister. That's why I want Ridge to be a dark character. I cast him as impotent simply because I can and I don't like Ridge.
Glad you found Donovan interesting - I intend to keep him very busy in the Forrester's lives.
I'm still feeling my way with Kristen and Pierce, but I would have loved to see them paired on the show and they will remain a couple.

I'm wondering how to have his brothers deal with it, if and when they learn of his problem. Who could blame them if they enjoyed it after the way he has treated them at times. But I think Thorne (yes, Dot, I really do) and especially Rick are better and kinder men then their "big brother", so I think they might be sympathetic. And that might be even harder (pardon the pun) on Ridge. I have a couple different ways of dealing with Ridge's current behavior that I'm kicking around - just have to decide which way to go. But, my Brooke will never aplogize or attempt to placate him. He has worked his last magic on her. Brooke will not admit her feelings even to herself right now, but she can't ignore them for long. Kristen sees herself as a stronger and more independent Forrester with Pierce's support. She may not want to confront her mother, but when the time comes (and it is at least several chapters down the road) she will stand her ground. Thanks for your comments. Hey, that's a good reason for one of us to write this story - we can make sure Brooke and Taylor shoot him down on that idea. You're reallllly tempting me here but I don't think I can do it justice. I was actually musing about it last night because it's such a funny idea. I wrote a rough little starting outline of it. But you know I write a lot slower than you ladies, and I'm really not that skilled in the sex scenes, as evidence of my ONE sex scene in 38 chapters! I'd be happy to share my ideas though for "Forrester Girls Gone Wild!" a Tayke story.  |
