Stephanie is one sick woman. Watching her adult son make love to his ex-wife. Shudders.... You surprised me Dot, I never thought the couple making love would be Tridge. I really thought it would be our Bricky. But oral sex isn't too bad.
Deacon did a good thing with Bridget. I'm guessing he hooked up with Carla. Good for them. Is there any future for them? I think I like them together. I would hate for Deacon to lose his job at the FC.
Thanks so much for posting. I very much needed some Bricky since all I got from the show is crap. Love you.

Well, I remember Steph did watch Brooke and Ridge, and she's always been obsessed with Ridge and Taylor and she is making me so angry that I had to do that to her LOL! Tridge did make love, but so did Bricky, they might not have had done the deed, but I think what they did was about their love and they are certainly ready. Hmmm, so you're thinking it's Deacon and Carla. Maybe it is LOL! He was very down. He hated hurting Bridget and he hated losing everything. I think he knows that Bridget is going to be too unhappy to have him around but Brooke gave him her word and I don't think she is going to back down Thanks so much for reading and commenting! So glad you liked it!

OK first off I gotta talk about Pervo Stephanie. What a sick freak she is! Setting up the whole seduction thing, giving Taylor the nighty and telling her what to do Then add the fact that she taped the whole thing and WATCHED it Ewww she is disgusting! Especially being all like I know what gets my son off. Eww eww eww! I did have to laugh my butt off when Taylor told Ridge that Stephanie was behind the whole thing and his reaction to it. I mean for real if I ever took advice like that (And I have an imagination so I wouldn't need to but if I did) I certainly wouldn't go admitting that I had it all laid out for me. Taylor you poor pathetic thing you. So I am betting that the letter that went hidden in the mail room is the one that Taylor mailed to Brooke interesting. So Carla was cut out over Nick but her and Deacon seem interesting. I am kind of surprised that he ended it with Bridget. I didn't think he would. I figured he would feel bad and cave in to Bridget. I love that you have Budge hooking up with CJ. Out of all the people that she was paired with on the show, the only time I really liked her with anyone was when she was with CJ. I always thought he was good for her, so I am glad to see him picking up the pieces. LOL even when I read your post of who was going to be playing him I wasn't even thinking that he was going to be involved with Budge. LOL you might just get me to like Bridget in another one of your stories! I like that you have Brooke deciding that she wants to be with Nick but now I am starting to wonder if she is going to be upset when Sicko Pervanie leaves her the video of him and Taylor getting it on. (Oh and thank you for sparing us the all the details of thier little tryst!) The p*nis bed was too too funny though! That was a great chapter and now I am looking forward to ITNOT! hint.. hint...

(Oh and thank you for sparing us the all the details of thier little tryst!) The p*nis bed was too too funny though! That was a great chapter and now I am looking forward to ITNOT! hint.. hint... I was thinking about when Steph taped Brooke and Ridge in the lab and how she seemed to get off on iit, and how she loves Ridge with Taylor and how much she wanted to make that happen. Add that to the fact that I'm so pissed at the show and I wanted her to suffer for not holding onto ErICK that I just had to do this to her LOL! Poor Taylor, she wants her marriage to Ridge so badly that she is letting Steph pull her strings. Well, so far it seems to have worked. I also decided that I wanted Ridge to already be a little grossed out by Steph being involved. Though he DID enjoy himself. As for the details, I wasn't in the mood to give too much of those for them. Glad you liked the bed LOL! The letter IS what went missing, but remember, Taylor threw it away into the ice bucket when James suggested she get rid of it. It was a waitress who found it and decided to mail it on to Brooke after she read it. Deacon was so torn, but he wanted to do what was best for Bridget and for Brooke. Once he told Bridget he knew she wasn't going to let his life just go on, but will Brooke? So we had a sad Deacon going out and meeting a mystery woman. Was it the equally sad Carla? Hmmmmm. No names WERE mentioned. I liked Bridget with CJ too, so I thought it might be fun to have her go to him and see where it could lead. She's not bad in Paradise, just misguided. All her life Brooke has chanted RIDGE RIDGE RIDGE to her, so it's no wonder she is shocked and doesn't believe it when Brooke says it's over. She does love her mother though and will come around, at least until she finds out Brooke was behind Deacon's leaving. I thought it was time for Nick and Brooke to be together again, but I wanted it to be Brooke coming to him, not Nick wearing her down. But I think they're back on track. I wouldn't worry too much about Brooke and the tape. I think it will upset her but only because Stephanie did it in the first place. And yes, ITNOT comes next. Hope I get inspired soon! Thanks for reading and commenting! ;D

Hi Dot, You never fail to deliver! I did detect some foreshadowing with Deacon's approval of older women, I didn't think that a Breacon was on the cards! So not too surprised he is hooking up with Carla??? Will Tatiana perchance view Stephs sicko homemade porno? (ewwwww) Shades of Taylor's see-through panties on that private jet?? I'm a bit confused about the mailroom incident, which letter is it? I'm glad Carla is a bit mixed up and emotional, she seemed a bit robot-woman at the beginning. Thanks as usual!! Barbara

Hi Dot, You never fail to deliver! I did detect some foreshadowing with Deacon's approval of older women, I didn't think that a Breacon was on the cards! So not too surprised he is hooking up with Carla??? I think the only Breacon we'll see is friendship, mututal respect and maybe a little appreciation of each other's qualities. But I thought perhaps Deacon would find a more mature woman to his liking, especially after he's become so attracted to Brooke. Is it Carla? Mebbe!! Hmmm. Tati has her plans and I think that she might enjoy the video a bit, it may just help her plans along! And yes, I was thinking about the jet, but I've tried to make Taylor more human and frail this time around. She wants so badly to please Ridge and to have her happy marriage back. Do you remember towards the beginning of this story Taylor found a love letter that Ridge had written but never mailed to Brooke. She had showed it to Stephanie who told her to forget all about it. But she couldn't and she showed it to James who encouraged her to throw it away. She threw it into a wine bucket at Cafe Russe, where they found it, saw it was for Brooke and that she might want it, and in turn mailed it to her at Forrester. Carla was a bit cold and robotic, but maybe that was more Nick's impression of her. She really isn't that way and I've been showing that there is a lot more to make of her. Thanks for reading and commenting and I hope I've answered most of your questions!

LOL, Dot. Stephanie just has no sense of lines that should never be crossed. Good grief! Wonder what Taylor would say about that tape? And I guess the sick heifer is gonna show it to Brooke. Which just means, not only is she sick, she's sadistic. Because she believes the tape will crush Brooke and she wants to see her crumple. Sooooooo....Nick and Brooke got a little quality couple time. I wondered for a bit if Nick were having a dream. But I'm glad Brooke is still being smart. About protection and birth control. That she wants to plan and enjoy her life with Nick. Seeing Brooke and Ridge fight like that makes me sad. Brooke is right, she was always there for him. And he's come thru for her as well. I really enjoyed seeing Carla again! You know I Love her. She's just such a great character. A different kind of woman from Brooke, but just as complex. I love how she got to go off on Nick. I know that in her mind she knows how things are. And in her rational mind, she wants Nick happy and is glad that things worked out. But being face to face with said happiness while her own life fell apart had to just get to her. Cut her to the bone. I remember her calling Brooke Malibu Barbie on the island. I think it's funny. And Carla attacking Brooke was such a woman thing to do. It's one of the worst traits women have...remaining friends with the male that hurt them, but ripping the female that usurped her to shreds. And I can see why she thinks the way she does about Nick. Why she's insulted that he compares Brooke and her, as businesswomen. It was like he took the last bit of herself that she had confidence in. The last thing she was the best at and still said Brooke could match her. And it hurts. I felt so bad for her at that lunch. But I do want her to stay in town. Jane and Tarzan, huh? Deacon is apparently...quite...ahem....well, no wonder Bridget likes sex so much! LOL. I just can't feel bad for Bridget...really...has the dumb girl taken a good look at CJ these days? LOL. I do wonder what will happen when Bridget finds out that her mother encouraged Deacon to leave her. And I also doubt Brooke will fire Deacon to assuage Bridget's need to spite her ex. That ought to be an interesting meeting. Great chapter, Dot!!!!

Steph is a witch and she seems to live to hurt Brooke. She was sick to want to see than, though her motive was to assure herself that Ridge fell for the seduction and for Taylor's proposal. But to find the lovemaking something she wants to share is just plain sick isn't it? I know Taylor would be more than shocked to know about that tape. I hope someone does tell her! Wow, you were actually nice to NIck LOL! Yes, Brooke is being smart, she does love him but she doesn't want any more unplanned pregnancies. She wants them to both be in control of their lives and their love. Ridge is so angry that he's lost her that he isn't being rational. But you know if she said the word he'd come running. I think her words will get through to him, but I do need him to be in Taylor's corner for storyline purposes. Brooke is his friend and even if he won't admit it, he knows it. Carla is a lot more complex than she gives herself credit for or than Nick gives her credit for. As a woman she still does resent Brooke, even if she is trying to be friendly and civil, and you know Brooke is scared of her too. She knows how she still feels about Ridge so she knows that Nick and Carla still have a deep connection too. The lunch was terrible for Carla. Everyone had the best intentions but we know how that saying goes. So it was like she was pushed down and dumped on when she was at her worst. She came away hating herself and feeling totally worthless. She can be catty though can't she? LOL! And she knows deep down that Brooke is not the stupid ho that she said she was, but it felt good to say it about her. I think that even though she got the frustration out it hurt her to see herself be that way. That's why she needed to escape. She needed to just go and reinvent herself, she needed to be with people who didn't know her at all and to be someone she always wanted to be. LOL! Well Deacon had a lot of pent up energy and anger and sadness and frustration and wasn't it nice he found his match to be able to work it all out with? He is one hottie! Thanks for the recommendation! Brooke gave her word and she won't go back on it, though Deacon may bow out, or try to. But I love conflict and I love writing Breacon, so you can expect him to stick around LOL! You know, I am surprised you didn't mention that letter! I know you above anyone, are most interested in the waves that will erupt once Brooke sees it! Thanks for reading and for the comments! You were really quick this time! Now one more thing okay? WAKE HER UP!

Wow, how do you keep doing it? Ahh…this is just what I needed. Reading about the new story and Bell’s cheating Brooke out of her company has certainly depressed me. But thank God for you Dot. Such a fantastic story that doesn’t ruin characters with plot devices.
This is such a fantastic story (though to tell you the truth I still see Nick as _____) since he was the original Nick, I hope that you don’t mind. I really loved Nick. It’s funny, sweet and hopelessly in love. I think that it’s fantastic that he and Carla are friends. He needs someone he can talk to and she’s proven that she’s really on his side.
Ridge is being a jerk because he didn’t get what he wanted. So now he’s once again considering making his marriage work. It’s stupid. He isn’t in love with Taylor the way he should be. It’s sickening the way that he’s using her when he’s considering sleeping with Tatiana.
I really like Carla. Nick is right, she and Brooke do have a lot in common. Even though she made those comments about Brooke, I can understand because she’s on the outside looking in and doesn’t know the pain or the hard work that Brooke put into Forrester. They are both smart buinesswomen working in a man’s world. What Carla had to go through, training the man to have her promotion happens so many times to women in this world. Thanks for putting that in your story. See, this is one of the suttle nueances that Bell can’t write or comprehends.
Finally Deacon has done the right thing. Breaking up his marriage with Bridget is the best thing for her. I think that Deacon is trying to change his ways. Letting Bridget go is the first real step of becoming a better person. I also like the way that he’s thriving at Forrester. Some people are natural leaders and Deacon may be one. Brooke is fair to him that sometimes that’s all that people need. At the same time Bridget is so sad. She was willing to stay with a man who cheated on her shows that she is desperate and I feel for her. I’ve been that girl in the past willing to take a man who cheated because I didn’t understand my worth. Thank god that I learned my worth and found a man who was good enough for me. I want that for Bridget. I want her to have real love. I feel sorry because she was young and foolish but she has her parents, friends and wealth. She’ll be alright.
Stephanie is up to her old tricks again being her son’s pimp. She just plain sick. She can’t allow Ridge to make any decisions on his own. It’s just plain scary, isn’t it? As for Taylor, she’s crazy. The man wouldn’t even be with her if Brooke hadn’t rejected him but she’ll take him anyway she can. LOL…that sounds like the Taylor on the show, doesn’t it? Now I thought the woman was nutty but to watch your son have sex with his wife. She’s just plain crazy, demented and sick.
I really like how you are using time by speeding up the process yet giving us glimpse of Nick and Brooke’s relationship by having flashbacks. I hope you don’t mind but I might steal that idea from you in the future. But only if I have your permission.
Nick and Brooke are so romantic. I think that it was cute for them to wait to make love again. But then again, I was happy when they finally did make love. Nick and Brook are so loving and kind to one another. I really want them to move in together.
So Carla finally let her hair and her panties down. LOL Well, Deacon was always rumored to be good in be. So I’m glad that someone who needs it is getting it. LOL

Dot this was a very good chapter. I felt good after reading it. It had something for everyone.
Nick and Brooke are moving ahead at a cautious but loving pace. I feel that Brooke is much the woman in Paradise I want to see on tv. She is mature and thoughtful about her life and her choices. There seems to be no sign of the impetuous, tunnel-visioned woman who depends on her beauty to get what she wants.
The "blind" date of Taylor and Ridge was very well done. I liked them. I felt Taylor's need to reach out and recapture her ex-husband's love. As I have told you before, Ridge is more likable in your stories than he ever has been on screen.
Deacon. Now this is the Deacon we saw occasionally on tv. He does have a heart and he can be compassionate. He did what was right and I'm proud of your Deacon. Now I wonder what the fallout of this will be when Bridget finds out Brooke encouraged this. I don't think it will be too pretty.
Now isn't it nice that Carla has found our young stud? This could get very interesting. I felt so sorry for her at dinner. She had Brooke/Nick and Cindy/Ethan and she felt like a third wheel. Life has just not been kind to Carla over the last few months and being at that dinner table must have been pretty uncomfortable. It was nice she found a little fun later.
Satanie is a weirdo. She is very much like the one we know on screen. I cannot imagine watching my son make love. That is something I just do not want to see. In fact, voyeurism is not my cup of tea at all. This gets the big "ick" factor from me. But is like the old cow, isn't it?
It was a great afternoon read Dot. Thanks!!!!!!
By the way, I love Cindy. She is wonderful. Thanks for that too.

Wow, how do you keep doing it? Ahh…this is just what I needed. Reading about the new story and Bell’s cheating Brooke out of her company has certainly depressed me. But thank God for you Dot. Such a fantastic story that doesn’t ruin characters with plot devices.
The show is so damn depressing. Brooke stuck with Eric, Brooke losing everything. I need to read and write FF. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Well, when I first had the vote for Nick, not everyone was happy with the choice. I don't mind if you picture the old choice. No matter how you see him, Nick is very much in love with Brooke. It's been hard for him to hold back and not push, but he knows that Brooke needed time and that he really did too. I like that he and Carla can remain friends, but that is hard too sometimes isn't it? LOL!
Ridge is being a jerk because he didn’t get what he wanted. So now he’s once again considering making his marriage work. It’s stupid. He isn’t in love with Taylor the way he should be. It’s sickening the way that he’s using her when he’s considering sleeping with Tatiana.
I think Ridge always loved both Brooke and Taylor, but it's true, he is, as usual, turning to Taylor because Brooke isn't available. I think Taylor COULD make him very happy, but you know Tatiana isn't going to let that happen!
I wanted to bring some workforce reality into the story, and it happens so often that a woman who has earned a position is left to train a man to take that position. Carla was used and she is angry. Brooke understands what she has gone through and feels badly for her, though she herself is still a little jealous of Carla's relationship with Nick. Carla was angry and jealous of Brooke and she said things that she knew weren't true, maybe just to piss off Nick. But I think down the line Brooke and Carla, who DO have a lot in common, could become friends.
Finally Deacon ha s done the right thing.
I love writing Deacon and in this story there was no Breacon, so I can build Brooke and Deacon's relationship a little differently. I wan them to be friends and I want them to respect each other, and it is really going to anger the Forresters. But it could cause problems for Bridget and Brooke. Brooke wants to be honest with Bridget but she is afraid of what will happen. Bridget most likely will blame Brooke and that is after she is furious with her mother for keeping Deacon on at Forrester, afterall Brooke is true to her word and she promised Deacon he won't lose his job. Bridget is going to become closer to CJ, who is much more appropriate for her.
Steph is sick and she is controlling. This to her is more about making sure Ridge stays with Taylor and that Brooke hurts. Of course she didn't mind watching her son and Taylor did she? LOL!
I really like how you are using time by speeding up the process yet giving us glimpse of Nick and Brooke’s relationship by having flashbacks. I hope you don’t mind but I might steal that idea from you in the future. But only if I have your permission.
Oh please, you don't need permission for anything. I've just been trying to make time move, it's so hard to do sometimes. I know I have some time inconsistancies and it makes me appreciate how hard it has to be for the writers too. So please, go for it, I think it works pretty well!
Nick and Brooke are so romantic. I think that it was cute for them to wait to make love again. But then again, I was happy when they finally did make love. Nick and Brook are so loving and kind to one another. I really want them to move in together.
I think waiting made it all the more special. They are really starting to know each other and share more than just sex. They laugh together and do things together. If they had just jumped into bed it would have been good, but they wouldn't hvae been able to prove to the doubters that it was really love.
So Carla finally let her hair and her panties down. LOL Well, Deacon was always rumored to be good in be. So I’m glad that someone who needs it is getting it. LOL
Carla did something very unusual for her. I think there will be regrets on her part, even if she did enjoy it and was very attracted. I think Deacon found someone he needed too and he is not going to want to let go.
Anyway, thanks so much for reading and for commenting! I loved your chapter and am looking forward to more from you too!

Dot this was a very good chapter. I felt good after reading it. It had something for everyone.
I tried to highlight all of my characters. I didn't have anything with Eric this time, but ummm I think that was probably for the best wasn't it?
Nick and Brooke are moving ahead at a cautious but loving pace. I feel that Brooke is much the woman in Paradise I want to see on tv. She is mature and thoughtful about her life and her choices. There seems to be no sign of the impetuous, tunnel-visioned woman who depends on her beauty to get what she wants.
I am trying to make Brooke mature and sensible but still sexy and fun and far from perfect. I think she may still be a bit impetuous, but the tunnelvision is definately gone!
The date of Taylor and Ridge was very well done. I liked them. I felt Taylor's need to reach out and recapture her ex-husband's love. As I have told you before, Ridge is more likable in your stories than he ever has been on screen.
Don't expect things to be too easy for them. Taylor loves Ridge and Ridge really does love her, but he is far from over Brooke and he is still very attracted to Tatianna. I think he has agreed to Taylor's proposal for the wrong reasons and it could hurt them both down the line.
Deacon. Now this is the Deacon we saw occasionally on tv. He does have a heart and he can be compassionate. He did what was right and I'm proud of your Deacon. Now I wonder what the fallout of this will be when Bridget finds out Brooke encouraged this. I don't think it will be too pretty.
Bridget will be furious. She will feel betrayed first by Brooke's role in Deacon's decision but then when she learns that Brooke is keepying Deaon on. Imagine how Bridget will feel if she walks in on Brooke and Deacon laughing and working together! Deacon did the right thing and it was very hard for him, but he did it for the two people who have given him love.......Bridget and Brooke.
It was so hard for Carla at lunch. She felt so alone. No one meant to do it and the women weren't encouraging it, but Nick and Ethan only had eyes for their women. Carla was on a rollercoaster and that made her make moves later that are so unlike her. She had fun but I think the guilt will be stronger.
Satanie is a weirdo. She is very much like the one we know on screen. I cannot imagine watching my son make love. That is something I just do not want to see. In fact, voyeurism is not my cup of tea at all. This gets the big "ick" factor from me. But is like the old cow, isn't it?
Steph is a sickie, but its all about her controlling in the end. She orchestrated the seduction and proposal and she wanted to watch it, so what if she had to see the sex too LOL! She always was jealous of Ridge's lovers!
It was a great afternoon read Dot. Thanks!!!!!!
By the way, I love Cindy. She is wonderful. Thanks for that too.
Sorry I didn't give you more Cindy and Ethan, but I thought what I gave you should be worth it!

Okay, Dot, I know you've heard it a lot, but I'm going to say it again. Stephanie – EWWWWWW! EWWWWW! I always knew the woman was demented, controlling, domineering, and sick and had incestuous leanings, but this goes beyond even my wildest dreams! I don't blame Ridge for being creeped out and wanting to be spared the gory details. I suspect that had he known the extent she went to in order to bring about this staged seduction, he wouldn't have been able to perform. I have to love your imagination and the bed was hysterical! In fact, I thought this chapter had a lot of phallic symbolism in it. I also noticed that some of the ladies acted as if enjoying sex is something to be ashamed of.
I don't know what to make of Taylor's eagerness to get her husband back in that way especially with her monster-in-law goading her on. For someone who was sooooo demure about the whole thing, she was quite a willing participant. Taylor's ladylike and demure protestations had me rolling my eyes. She's not the "type" to sex it up with her ex-husband? Isn't this the same swinging single who not only sexed it up with her ex, but with Ridge in a single afternoon? She's not the type to go the seduction route? That WAS her trying to seduce Ridge less than 10 minutes after he walked out on Brooke and their family to be a family with Thomas and Taylor, wasn't it? She's not the "type" to wear revealing lingerie? I only have three words for that: dust bunny teddy! This woman is a stone trip! For all her phony protestations, she has employed all of the above and more to get Ridge, and she has shown that she's still willing to do whatever it takes to get him back. And, if Taylor ever did find out about the videotape, which would honestly upset her more: the fact that the hag watched, or that she set the whole date up?
I don't think anything good will come of Ridge's impromptu decision to give his marriage another chance. I thought he and Taylor were already in a good place and admired the fact that he was being honest with himself and not encouraging her. I suppose there's no heart balm like having one's ego boosted in more ways than one. At least he spared Taylor the indignity of once again giving her a ring he originally purchased for someone else—not that she would have minded. Not only is he not over Brooke, but it seems that Tatiana already has him wrapped around her little finger. I couldn't help but note the girl's cheekiness toward the company's CEO and how she played up to Ridge when Brooke asked her to leave. Brooke is smart not to trust Tatiana and I hope she continues to go with her gut instinct.
But, back to Stephanie. She has a sexy man (I know you don't think so—LOL!) snoring away upstairs but chooses to get her kicks watching her SON and her supposed best friend making love? EWWWWW! And, how evil and sick is it to want to send a videotape to Brooke? It's like she's so obsessed that she hasn't heard a word that Brooke has said!
I loved Brooke and Nick in this chapter. I love how he's so in to her and that he's supportive. They seem to have adapted pretty well to civilization. I love that you are allowing them to enjoy a real courtship complete with day trips, bike rides, casual dining, movies, concerts and some good old-fashioned necking. They are also quite inventive with their lovemaking! I totally agree with Brooke's decision to put off anything else until they get condoms. She and Nick have already survived one close call. I do understand that Nick is anxious to have a little one, but Brooke is smart to want to wait until she's sure of where things are and until her feelings are resolved. That faraway look Nick described is normal and pretty understandable. She and Ridge did share a lot, good and bad. Not to mention, the bond and connection they shared that led Ridge not to give up hope that she was still alive.
That's why their disagreement was so hard to read. Ridge is feeling pissy because Brooke rejected him. It's unfortunate that he doesn't see that she still loves him and wants and needs him as her friend. And, good call on Brooke's part for reminding him how she has ALWAYS been there for him as his friend whenever he moved on and made a life with someone else. In fact, onscreen there was a time when Ridge repeatedly referred to Brooke as his best friend.
Speaking of friends, I'm glad that Carla was able to come to L.A. She got a really bad deal with that job of hers. I think most women could definitely relate to what she's going through. Imagine training someone only to have him promoted over you, as YOUR boss! Like others, I really do like and care about Carla. I totally felt where she was coming from in not wanting to make it easy for Nick to assume that just because she's accepted that he wants Brooke, and then automatically they should all be friends. Her catty comments threw me but it's definitely the type of thing women do. Lord knows it's been pretty vicious here in Washington these days with that poor Harriet lady. I've never seen so many cats outside of an alley! I'm glad Carla was able to retract her claws though. Her comments about Brooke's business acumen really pissed me off because onscreen there have been repeated references to Brooke getting her stock in divorce settlements. It's very realistic though and illustrates how we as women don't always support one another especially when we perceive that someone has an unfair advantage because of her looks, wealth, sex appeal, or willingness to sleep her way to the top. I felt really bad for Carla during the lunch, as well. It took a lot for her to agree to go in the first place. Here, she figured she could at least retain some of her dignity and leave quietly, go back to her hotel and make some decisions. How hard it is for really strong and prideful people to accept the help of others! I had to cackle though when she decided to step out of the box and get her some. Man, that Deacon must be a veritable bull! Now, I just need to figure who turned WHO out!
I was pretty tense during the Bridget/Deacon/Brooke scenes. I'm still all for Brooke throwing the male gold-digger out on his ear! But, I understand that she's been giving him the benefit of the doubt but I'm worried that her actions are going to be misconstrued. I was surprised that Deacon broke up with Bridget this soon. He was brutal, but honest. I also think it's for the best. It was a cringe-worthy moment seeing Bridget beg for their marriage, and promising to be a better wife and to be better in bed. There are so many women who do this everyday and a lot of them aren't as young as Bridget. A no-good, cheating, lying man is better than no man at all. It's bitter medicine for Bridget now, but one day she'll understand. BTW—I love CJ! I was disappointed that the writers didn't follow up on the Romeo/Juliet theme they could have had with Bridget and CJ and instead opted for shock and awe in the form of Sicket. Is there any chance that Bridget will forgive Brooke? After all, look at what Brooke has had to forgive! Oh and thanks for allowing Brooke to ream the child out about her lies. It's definitely a welcomed change from what occurs onscreen. I'm also curious as to whether you cast JF or AJ as your Bridget.
This was such a great, fun and erotically charged chapter, Dot! I can't wait to read more and I especially look forward to learning the fate of that letter.

Ohhhh, Dot! I want to say Paradise is one of my favorites, but I love your other stories so much too. They are each so different. I love the way you take B&B to the next level! Satanie’s straightforward, none-of-her-business question, “Have you moved back to the bedroom yet” was so inappropriate and SO Stephanie. LOL. The whole setting-up of the seduction scenario with Taylor was such a hilarious extrapolation of Steph’s character, but then the videotape… LOL!! That’s just great!!! Steph is just truly twisted and she is so blithely unaware of it too. Her hatred of Brooke makes her blind and deaf. Just like when Brooke was telling Steph that she hopes Ridge and Taylor are happy and Steph just continues on with “you’ve been replaced” as if Brooke hadn’t said any such thing. You certainly have the character nailed and it’s such a delight! Steph’s refusal to believe that Brooke really doesn’t want Ridge will be a downfall. Once Steph shows Brooke the tape, I don’t see how Brooke could keep quiet that such a tape exists (because of Steph no less). Love how you make Steph so outrageous, but still in keeping with her character and tendencies. Hey, she wanted to be a fly on the wall during the seduction. I thought the comment was hilarious and then when she actually was…OMG, Too Much. Taylor lost me on her quote, “I’m not Brooke, I am not going to force a man to be with me when he doesn’t want me.” Excuse me Miss Priss, but Brooke has never forced a man to be with her. And yet, Taylor has done that very thing with Hook, Line and Sinker. Taylor has a very warped sense of Brooke and herself in terms of Ridge. With all the stuff Steph feeds her though, it’s not a stretch that Taylor buys into all that crap. When Ridge was in the limo and couldn’t call out or see out the dark windows I was beginning to think maybe Tatiana intervened and would be waiting for him. Have to give it to Taylor who REALLY went outside her comfort zone to get her man. So much more to feel humiliated by when she learns of the dalliance between Ridge and Tatiana. Because you know those tidbits of information always find a way to come out. The Brooke and Bridget conversation was very revealing. Brooke really saw her love history for what it was – and saw how Nick differed. Especially how Nick didn’t assume the worst after Bridget’s “misunderstanding” and run off. So true! How refreshing it was for Nick to wait to hear it from Brooke. Good for her to truly notice the good in Nick that she sees after living through all the flaws of Ridge. Deacon really turned on a dime under Brooke’s influence. Once Brooke returned from dead and treated Deacon as a useful team member Deacon changed his whole motivations very quickly. I’m glad he’s out of the revenge business and has cut his child-bride loose. My suspicion is that Deacon had a wild night with Carla. Though that’s not her style I think she was at loose ends and needed to be wild. Dressing the part and acting the part really brought out the inner sex kitten…a trait not shared with Nick. But being with a different person in a different city and in need of a life change could bring that out in a woman. And Deacon is just the man to bring it out in a woman! Love the way you write him. First, “I’m not worth your tears” was so true yet must have been very difficult to say. Then later he’s talking to himself in the bar and the guy calls him on it with “I’m not the one talking to myself, man”. That made me LOL. I can envision that scene happening! Then he turns down a threesome and still gets lucky anyway. I’m glad to see Deacon has his own storyline. Many years ago I thought it made sense for a Bridget/CJ pairing. But Mick Cain kinda’ ruined the character by playing an a-hole just all too well. This CJ will be just what Bridget needs though. I’m glad he was there for her. Brava! Brava!
