Thank you! I had to keep coming back to finish -- too many damn interruptions ... I just wanted to let you know I am loving your Brooke and Nick in "Paradise." I like how they are both trying to build their relationship slowly and surely in the real world but the real world (the Forresters) keeps intruding on them. Bridget is still a PIA -- but maybe she'll get hers eventually. (Come on Dot -- can't you send the annoying little twit AWAY?! lol!) I really appreciated how you had Brooke not only see through Ridge's romantic gestures (Nagano, et al) but to actually have her spell out to him how each of them ended! I liked Brooke's conversation with Deacon about Bridget and what was best for him, too. I also loved Deacon's accidental spying on Brooke by the pool -- and even tho' Breacon never existed in your story -- the fire was there if only in Deacon's (and my) vivid imaginations! So ... Tatiana has evil plans to use Ridge in her plans against Taylor -- (as if any gorgeous woman would have to do much to seduce the ego maniacal rat ) -- and she finally got to meet Taylor. Can't wait to see what she has in store for her. Ridge and Taylor both thought she seemed ... familiar ... hmmmm? Thanks, again, for the nice big chapter. ;D

Can't wait to see what she has in store for her. Ridge and Taylor both thought she seemed ... familiar ... hmmmm? Thanks, again, for the nice big chapter. ;D Thanks Lindy! I'm so glad you read it and enjoyed it. I thought you might like my Brooke and Deacon interaction and I promise, there is more to come. No, there was no Breacon, but the things that seemed to draw them together are still there. I think Brooke truly does appreciate Deacon and we KNOW he appreciates her. I'm not saying they'll have a love affair, but I think that they will have something that brings them closer. My Bridget is annoying but her heart IS in the right place, she truly does believe that Brooke and Ridge are in love and belong together. Brooke needs to sit her down and have a nice long talk with her. As for Bricky, they really do want to build a good, strong relationship. But I don't think that either one is gong to be able to hold out long on their love and passion, it IS an important part of what they have and they can still grow while carrying on a loving relationship too. Brooke had a hard time with what Ridge did for her. It did bring some good memories and it did make her remember the love and passion, but it brought back some very sad memories too. But even though she was angry, she was tempted, at least a little bit. Ridge was hurt and lost. And Tatiana was able to play him like a violin. She also has started to play Taylor. And yes, both Ridge and Taylor sense something familiar about her. Tatiana was stunned to finally meet Taylor but she hid her discomfort and hatred. She's good, but Deacon is suspecting things and he does feel that Taylor is the one she has the connection to. Thank you again for reading and commenting! It makes it all worthwhile!

Excellent chapter Dot. I see good logical development of the Nick/Brooke relationship. They are so happy, but Brooke is cautious. She is using that wonderful brain of hers and not letting herself get carried away.
Nick is the man every woman dreams of. He is handsome, smart and sensitive. He is willing to take things at Brooke's pace. Their "date" was very cute.
Deacon is very interesting. I am seeing glimpses of his good side in this chapter. He cares for Bridget yet he is selfish and definitely has an agenda. Wow! the pool scene was pretty hot. Too bad old Budge was there. Brooke would have turned him down, but it would have been fun to see him turn on the charm.
Now Ethan has me intrigued. How are you going to flesh him out? Seems Nick thinks Cindy "likes" the man. Can't wait for more of this guy! LOL
I saved the best for last. Tatiana. She is a full-blown villianess. What a conniver. I loved what she did to old Ridge. And poor Taylor thinks now that Brooke said "no", she can slip right back in. Wait til she gets a real fix on the new model. I hope you keep Tatiana wicked and vengeful. She draws the reader in and fascinated-like people are by snakes!
Just great Dot. Love you stories. The wait for the next chapter will be hard.
Thanks ;D ;D ;D

I see them and I want them together and happy and they are, but I also enjoyed their passion on the island, but things are different. Brooke wants this to work. She's had a lot of bad relationships and she wants to be careful. Nick, on the other hand is totally sure of what he wants, but he loves and respects Brooke enough to give her the time she needs and to talk the relationship at a slower pace. Their date was cute and they are happy and they are both finding their rules difficult to follow LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed Deacon and have to laugh that you'd have liked to see him there alone. You're right, Brooke would not have done anything with him but it would have been interested to see what he would have done if his wife, her daughter, wasn't around. But don't fear, there will be more interaction in the coming chapters. I didn't give you much about Ethan other than Nick's opinion that Cindy is interested in him LOL! I think he'll be fleshed out more in the coming chapters, both in the office and out of the office. Maybe he and Cindy can double date with Nick and Brooke! Tatiana is bad, but she does have good reason. Now that we know for sure that Taylor is her mother we will have to learn just what happened and what Tatiana knows. But we can suspect that she feels abandoned and angry. She is obviously going to use Ridge to get back at Taylor. I don't think she will risk showing her hand again, at least not right away, but she is going to have to worry about Deacon. And remember her father is Nick's client and wants him involved in her affairs. I think a lot of people will be tied in to this. Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I am sorry you had to wait so long. On to ITNOT!

Ah ha! So Tatiana is Taylor and Omar's daughter! I am totally loving Tatiana and I can't wait for her seduction plot to unfold with Ridge a little more. I think she wants to take all that is dear away from Taylor just like she feels Tay did to her. Still not sure what happened and while I'm not Taylor's biggest fan, her abandoning her daughter to leave with Omar is pretty harsh. although perhaps Omar didn't give her any choice in the matter. he wanted his leila and I bet he wouldn't have allowed her to leave him and take his child with her. coarse you never really know what Tatiana knows about the whole situation. Would Omar raise his daughter to hate her mother, is he that bitter? very very interesting. I cant wait to see it all play out! I love how Brooke and Nick are rediscovering each other in new ways. It's going to be killer to go a couple chapters with no bricky love but I can see where Brooke is coming from with her request. It's good of Nick to respect her wishes. But then he has ten times more class than Ridge does. I wonder if part of what Ridge is doing by moving back home with Taylor is trying to make Brooke jealous? I can totally see him doing that. And Deacon! I got such a kick out of him poolside! He's still a baddie but I think that Brooke's conversation with him got thru to him on some level. I like how those two interact! Oh and Brooke telling Ridge off during his little seduction scene with the sushi was priceless. The man truly is an idiot with a selective memory, isn't he? I'm also looking forward to this new guy as well! Thanks for the great chapter dot! ;D

I'm also looking forward to this new guy as well! Thanks for the great chapter dot! ;D Yes, Tatiana does want to take everything that Taylor loves away from her. She listened carefully to the things that Megan told her and she is plotting away. She was lucky, she got to Ridge at a very low point, but she has to worry about Brooke too. What would happen if she decided that she does want Ridge? I won't tell you about how she came to be with Omar while Taylor was back home, but there is a story to it that will come out. You're right about it being against everything in Taylor to abandon her child so you know that there has to be a reason behind that too! Brooke and Nick are actually having fun and Nick isn't too worried about Brooke's rules because he knows that he loves her and that she loves him. He knows that soon they will both just need to be together and he can wait. He knows that their love is worth waiting for. And he really is enjoying getting to know her better. He wants to show her just who he is too! I really like Deacon and while he really can be bad, he does respect Brooke and now he seems a bit enamored of her too. They will have a lot more interaction in the future and some of the others will not be happy about it at all. Ethan will be a friend to Nick, a man he can talk to and do things with, as well as a possible romantic interest for some lucky woman or women. But it's most important that I flesh out my regulars. Thanks so much for your comments!

Excellent chapter, Dot! I see you didn't wait around for me--LOL! I think it was a stroke of genius though for you to have Brooke revisit Nagano and those other moments she shared with Ridge to see them for what they were. It was kind of sad though because I loved them so much when they were occurring onscreen. It was an epiphany for me, too, because the memories are bittersweet. I have to admit that I'm a bit torn now that the playing field has been leveled between the two men in Brooke's life. I have no doubt though that you will take Brooke on a great ride. I have to say though I was a bit disappointed that Brooke didn't just toss Deacon out on his ear especially after his demeaning behavior of her daughter while she was away, as well as his obvious power plays. I think Brooke played her hand way too soon and allowed Deacon to see how frightened she was. Had it been me, Deacon wouldn't have a wash cloth, a towel, a cup, a plate, a razor blade, a piece of toilet paper or anything resembling a home, much less a job. I just hope that if Brooke insists on keeping this fool around that she keeps her eyes open and not trust him. I don't believe for one second that Deacon loves that insipid child he's with. Speaking of which, I was hoping Brooke would straighten her out in this chapter; maybe she will in the next one. Since when is it sinful for a grown woman to sunbathe in the privacy of her own home. It's time for Brooke to change her locks or at the very least establish some firm boundaries--like CALL FIRST before you come over! And, when did Bridget become a little prude anyway? The girl just simply needs to be slapped period. Deacon's little fantasy has me a little worried. I know that Bricky is the destination, but is there a chance that Deacon will keep himself in check, or will Brooke ultimately regret keeping him around. Taylor is so pathetic! It's amazing how all of James' advice just went in one ear and straight out the other. She sure didn't hesitate to take her taken man back, did she? I wonder what will happen when that letter resurfaces? Taylor is doing nothing but living in a fool's paradise if she believes that she totally has Ridge's heart. Hello, you idiot--Ridge only wants to come home because he was REJECTED by your rival! It seems that the rivalry is over as far as Brooke is concerned and she wants to move forward and look back. Meanwhile, Taylor has to "prove" something. She of all people should recognize that she's once again being Ridge's rebound gal. Guest room my foot! Isn't it funny though that she already sensed that her daughter is someone she shouldn't sleep on. I just KNEW that Tatiana was Omar and Taylor's daughter! Is Taylor even aware that she gave birth to another child? I sensed it every time Tatiana seethed when people mentioned how devoted Taylor was to the bait pile. And, I love Ridge's little "snack!" LOL! He sure didn't waste anytime, did he? It's amazing how self-destructive that man is when he needs to feel validated and loved. Stephanie needs to be slapped silly. Even though no one expects her to be a hypocrite, she still hasn't grasped the concept that sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut. Saving the best for last--Bricky! I'm so glad that they have had a chance to clear the air and are actually spending some real time together. I also love that Brooke is being realistic in terms of what she wants and the challenges they will face. I'm also glad that she wants to give herself time before things become physical between them again. I so look forward to their reconnecting and celebrating their love WITHOUT interruption! ;D Wonderful chapter, and I can't wait to see what evil plans Tatiana has in store for Tridge! I'm taking bets to see who gets to her first--Ridge or Deacon.

Wow, thanks so much for the quick comments! I always look forward to them. Sorry that I didn't wait for you. I really wanted to finish this chapter and I wrote around that part and finally decided that it just HAD to be Nagano. It is very bittersweet, both for Brooke in the story and for me and I expect the readers because of our on screen memories. I know that Nagano is almost a shrine to Bridge and yet when I was recreating it all I could think about was that last part when that happy and serene Brooke went to get the champagne only to have to deal with Taylor and then the next day her marriage was over. How very very sad. But all in all I liked the effect of Brooke having sweet memories and yet having it really open her eyes. She still does love Ridge and remember, that letter is still floating out there. I know you don't like Deacon, but I have to admit that he is one of the most fun and complex characters to write for. In Paradise I feel that he really does feel love for Bridget. He isn't in love with her and he treats her horribly, but he will defend her when anyone else says a cross word. He is very protective of her and also of Brooke. Brooke was gone for a long time and she doesn't really know what happened while she was gone, but she daughter seems to be strong and happy and she gives Deacon a lot of credit for that. Brooke is torn. She doesn't know if she can trust him but she knows that Bridget still loves him and Deacon has shown he that he is good at his job. She wants to be fair, but her first priority is her children so she wants Deacon to end the marriage. I think this will add a lot of future conflict for everyone at Forrester. I felt so badly for Taylor. She really does love Ridge and she wants so badly to have it all back that she is ignoring all the very good advice that James gave her as well as the telltale signs that she IS Ridge's rebound girl. You're right, she doesn't want him in the guest room. Ridge is a mess. He is reeling from the rejection. He is hurt and angry and devastated. He was ripe and easy prey for Tatiana. But I think that he will be overcome with guilt too. He really wants Brooke back and he knows that what happened was so very wrong. But I also know that Tatiana is going to be working very hard to have him fall head over heels for her. She hates her mother very very much. Is Taylor aware of Tatiana? Hmmmm. I think I'll wait for the next chapter or so because some think yes and some think no and I don't want to spoil it. PM me if you really want to know LOL! Stephanie is just plain mean and she is going to lose a husband that really does love her if she doesn't watch out. I'm really glad you liked my slow and steady Bricky stuff. Brooke does know that she loves him, but she is afraid that things just might not work in the light of the real world. Nick is having a lot of fun playing by her rules. He loves her and feels stronger and more secure than ever. He desires her very much but he is not going to pressure her. He knows that in time and probably very little time, she will come to him and say that she wants him too. And they won't have the same interruptions that the Copeland are having LOL! Bridget needs to be bitch slapped LOL! Brooke loves her and is trying to be patient but she is also angry. She will confront her and set her straight, but to be fair, Bridget really thinks that Brooke does love and belong with Ridge and no other man. I'm thinking Ridge will get Tatiana before Deacon. I'm not sure Tatiana needs Deacon anymore and I think that his eyes have wandered elsewhere! LOL Thank you so much for your wonderful comments!

Congrats Dot for a job well done in this chapter. It covers quite a bit for me. First and foremost, your Bridget is as unwelcome as she is in the real soap. Annoying factor. Deacon is a bad boy with a good heart. He does care about Bridget but a man gotta look after his own goals and needs first. After the peeping show, he will secretly desire Brooke against his own judgement. What's more tempting than the forbidden fruit, right? I love your Tatiana. Who better to oust Taylor than her own daughter. Can't wait for the revelation to come out after Tatiana managed to seduce Ridge and foils Taylor's plan for a reconciliation. Don't think it will destroy Ridge but Taylor will be utterly devastated. Call me evil, but I can't wait for the whole drama (feeling giddy). Ridge sure didn't waste a lot of time before turning back to Taylor. But who can blame him right, I mean after all he's a pig. The only good thing he has done for Brooke was bringing her home from the island. Is there a future for Bridget and Ethan? They sound more compatible, both young and intelligent. Lastly most important at all, our Bricky. I just simply love them. No matter who wrote Bricky, I just adore them. ;D They are so natural and comfortable with each other. Brooke doesn't need to change and adjust her lifestyle for Nick, she can simply just be herself and Nick would worship the grounds she walked on. They do need time to get used to each other in the harsh reality mainly the Forresters. They need to be on solid ground before facing the wolves. Can't wait for more chapters but I can settle for more Bricky in ITNOT. Love it, Dot. You're an amazing writer.

Thanks for posting your comments! I'm really glad you're enjoying my story. Bridget can certainly be annoying but she does love her mother and she really does think that her mother belongs with Ridge. Her ways were wrong but she really felt that she was helping her mother. I have to wonder how she is going to feel when she finds out that Brooke is pressuring Deacon to end her marriage. Mother and daughter love each other very much but both are straining their relationship. Deacon already has started to desire Brooke. I have to wonder if it will affect him when he is in the bedroom with Bridget. He is at a crossroads right now. He has to make some very important decision, but does he really want to? Ridge is reeling from Brooke's rejection. He really believed that she would come around and that the romantic scene that he set would make her say yes to his proposal. He didn't seek out Taylor, that happened by accident, but it is his regular pattern. I'm not so sure he is ready to give up Brooke though. As for what happened with Tatiana and what could happen in the future, I have a feeling he will regret his impulsive move. Tatiana is going to have to work harder than this. She is a woman scorned, but not by a lover, by the one person that she should have been able to count on, her mother. Now it seems that all she wants to do is cause Taylor as much pain as she has had. It will be interesting when Taylor finds out who this young woman is. I'm not sure if there is a future for Bridget and Ethan. She loves Deacon and has no desire for anyone else. We'll have to see. Brooke and Nick are already very deeply connected, but they both wanted to really get to know each other. They are finding that they are more compatible than either had hoped and that is a good thing. They both can relax and laugh and feel at ease with each other but you're wrong about one thing......... Brooke's lifestyle. It is far different from Nick's and they haven't really dealt with that yet. Her roots are middle class but she has been a rich woman for a very long time. Nick isn't from that world and I think that he may have a bit of a problem dealing with it when things come up. Is their love and passion strong enough to get them past it? I hope so. Again, thank you so much for posting to me!

Great Job Queenie, Boy if this wasn't something thta I needed! I LOVED this chapter. I also missed your writing very very much. So, where to start?
Let's start with Brooke. God, I love the way that you write her. You've gotten Brooke. Her passion. Her honesty and her fire. I love how she wants to take her time with Nick. Learn about creating a relationship based on feelings, family and committment, not sex. I love the way she is confortable with Nick without the hang ups from the past. LOL
I have to say that her conversation with Ridge rocked. She called Ridge on every broken commitment that he has made in the past. Yes, it was romantic trying to relive Nagano but Brooke did remember that it was the last night they had married that time. I won't say that this part wasn't easy for me the read, with what I've read about the real show...it hits home. Ridge words and passion seem to fade when he can't seem to stand by Brooke when she needs him. Brooke was strong with Ridge, I just hope that she'll continue to follow her heart.
As for Ridge....I'm SO disappointed in him. Megan was right, he's back and forth. All of the fight went right out of him as soon as Brooke kicked him out. Then he went back to Taylor, who just like on the real show, is willing to take him anyway she can. She knows that he was suppossed to marry Brooke, but she all but forgiven him the instance he showed her any interest.
Tatinia is going for broke when it comes to Taylor. Deacon was just a plaything to her to get information and that's what she's gotten. A way to hurt Taylor. As soon as she stated that she had an idea, I knew what it was. Going after Ridge. And foolish Ridge falls for it. That no panty scheme worked....and proved that Ridge has no real control over himself. As least if he were with Brooke I knew that he'd never be interested in Tatina. It will be more than interesting to find out how she plans to pay Taylor. I'm all for it.
Deacon got an eyefull didn't he? Brooke's sexy body giving him all this different ideas. What will he do? Will be become obessed with his mother-in-law? Will Bridget ever be freed from him? Will she ever wake up to the fact that her husband doesn't love her?
I see that Stephanie is her old, nasty self. Could Eric get fed up and leave her PLEASE. She's such a nasty b*tch and deserves to be unhappy.
Queenie, it was delightful. I can't wait to read more from you.

I'm so glad to see you again and so glad you enjoyed my chapter and sorry if it made you sad too. I am trying to write Brooke as strong. She does love Ridge but she can't deny what happened with Nick and she wants to know if they can have a future together. I think if Ridge hadn't pushed so hard she might have agreed to see them both but at this point Ridge wants marriage or nothing and I guess he's getting nothing. Brooke does desire Nick as badly as he does her, but she knows already how good they are sexually and it's very important to her to know if they really do have more. Nick respects this and will go along with her, but he doesn't think it will last long because he knows how strong their sexual attraction is too. But he and Brooke are both already having a lot of fun and laughs. It's such a pleasure for Brooke to have a stress free relationship. The Nagano scene was hard. I wanted it to be romantic, I wanted to show Brooke really was touched but I also wanted it to remind her of all the bad times. Sometimes Ridge forgets the things he does to hurt the women he loves. Brooke laid it all out for him. But one thing is true. She still does love him. Even if she is not "in love" with him right now. And remember, that letter is still floating out there and she has never seen it. Taylor is a bit desperate, but she loves Ridge and she wants him back. I don't think Ridge is going to be ready to jump into a marriage with her though. His heart is still with Brooke. That is why he was so easily taken with Tatiana and you're right, she is one smart cookie. She has a plan and will use anyone and anything to get what she wants. But she will not find it as easy as she thinks. Deacon is already onto her and soon some other people may be too. Deacon is going to have it bad for Brooke and that will make it hard for him to stay with Bridget. I think Brooke's words did get through to him but he's scared to give up his easy life too. I'm not sure he trusts Brooke's promises yet. Steph is going to end up pushing Eric away, and in Paradise he does love her dearly. She is mean and bitter and anything that happens will be her own fault! Thanks so much for reading and commenting! It's good to have you back. And not to be greedy, but I know Changes is your favorite. I wonder if you ever got to read the last chapter!
